"Nice vacation in Montreal"

8.0

It was 4-day stay. Location is favorable for getting to all places of interest. Many cafes, restaurants and grocery stores around. The owner is very nice person. We felt ourselves like at home.

"Bienvenue"

8.0

My husband and I traveled with our daughter and her partner for a stay of 5 nights. Carole and her husband were outstandingly helpful in informing us about how to get around in Montreal. The breakfast vouchers were fun to use. The neighborhood was interesting and full of shops and restaurants. We had a room with a private bathroom :the shower was small and towels were skimpy. The bed was very comfortable. The BnB was clean and in a good location.

"Cozy boarding-room style inn, great location!"

10.0

We had a great stay at this B&B, in part because we knew some advanced info: 1. Shared bathroom! You have a sink in-room but the shower and toilet is shared. This wasn't really a big deal except once in the morning, and we were OK with it going in. All guests were polite and respectful and there was certainly enough hot water to go around. 2. Room was kind of cold! We brought our own comforter from home and were super toasty. 3. No breakfast is actually served - you get $5/person/day for nearby cafes. This was actually awesome, and a great way to start the morning. I love getting my choice of meal and great coffees and the nearby eateries did not disappoint. Chez Jose is the standout of the bunch. Carole and her husband are super nice inn proprietors. They were very nice, helping me move my car in the morning to avoid street cleaning. We chatted with them a few times to get tips about the neighborhood. They live in the basement of the inn with two cats that you may be lucky enough to see in the garden. The area you're in here is super great. We walked to the Notre Dame cathedral, up and down St Denis and St Laurent, and easily hopped the metro to the botanical gardens. Centrally located, there's tons of great food just outside the door, and lots of small convenience stores to get beer, wine, and anything you may have forgotten. Overall this place is a great deal. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to Montréal.

"Love the neighborhood"

4.0

Very sweet elderly couple runs this b&b. Tickets for breakfast on various cafes in the neibourhood - very good idea. The cafes are very nice just don't expect to get a full breakfast for a fiver as is the amount of your voucher. The place is situated in just the very right spot. has free public parking just outside. If you like to cook for yourself there's a suitable kitchen for small meals. All in all very recommendable despite a somewhat worn down appearance.

European feel, not fancy but clean and comfortable. No breakfast is served but coupon for $5 is given to use at local cafe.
