"Perfect hotel"

The location is super nice, just on Münster Platz. The room is very clean and really elegant! Breakfast was rich! And the staffs were friendly! Perfect hotel!

"Perfect location, highly recommended!"

This hotel is in a great location, right next to the cathedral. Super clean and quaint, with tremendously helpful and friendly staff. The standard double room is a bit small, but well organized to make the most of the space. Would highly recommend the hotel, and definitely go to the hotel restaurant for dinner, it is amazing.

"A general impression visiting Freiburg"

What was offered was very good. What I missed was a lobby where one could sit on a cup of coffee or a drink and have a meeting with one's guest. Considering the summer Freiburg weather, having no air condition can be a problem.

"Beware of Freiburg Germany"

I loved the Hotel but would never return to Freiburg because of the Graffiti and Trash EVERYWHERE in the city. The youth gather in the market square (right outside the hotel) smoking and drinking...the signs on the buses remind you to beware of pickpockets. The mayor of the town needs to get a handle on the YOUNG kids in Freiburg!

"Freiburg first class"

The GPS directed us to restricted streets during the market hours, but the friendly police helped us out of the jam. The Hotel Oberkirch staff was terrific in getting us settled into excellent rooms. The restaurant dinner reservations resulted in the best tables each night for first class dining. After two days in town we took a Sunday ride to Basel and visited the Zoo with many of the local families with children. A very nice three night stay.

"Hotel Oberkirch"

The location of the hotel is right in the center of the Altstadt and on the Münsterplatz, making it perfect to see the city. The entire staff that I interacted with was friendly, professional and patient with my bad German. I just reserved a small, single room, which was clean, cozy and peaceful. I'd definitely recommend it to others.

"nice hotel in a good location"

the two day stay was overall pleasant, the only negative comment would be that the breakfast area could become busy at certain times, there was also building work in the vicinity which made for an early breakfast

"Historical and quiet location."

Food was good, room very comfortable and parking was available. My daughter and I were able to relax and enjoy our trip. Everyone we came in contact with from the hotel was very friendly and helpful.
