Location was good, property clean, no staff. Room on the highest floor very hot, only one little window. Good for short stay.

The food in the restaurant downstairs was really good, staff lovely. Location great. Provided fan. Towels and bedding clean and acceptable.

Lighting in stair areas not good, lights took too long to come on. Maintenance not good. Carpet on stairs unravelling and threadbare in places. The room - it was a hot day and evening and I can understand the difficulty in keeping the room cool. However, with three huge windows, there was only one small top window to be opened. A fan was provided but was not big enough to have any affect. Stains on the carpet and unravelling carpet at doorway to bathroom. Shower was very difficuly to regulate, really hot or cold! The shower tray filled up with water, like being in a paddling pool. Heater hanging off wall, luckily we did not need it. Drainage hole in middle of bathroom!! Furniture very tired. All in all not what I would expect for £230 a night, no breakfast.

The only good thing about this place is location is central

The place is above a kebab shop and the staff there are expected to hand over keys and seem to know nothing about the facilities when we complained. Dirty entrance. Dirty stairwell. Filthy carpet in room. Stifling heat. Room had no fan, windows didn't open, nowhere to put clothes. Iron but no ironing board. A grubby desk held together with tape . 3 adults in room 1 mug 2 glasses. Noisy street outside all night. More of a hostel style room. Cost £225 for 1 night. Appalling.

Great location in central Cardiff. Easy access for Cardiff castle and Blackwier park where we were attending a gig. Room was clean and generously sized. We were able to leave luggage with the restaurant below before check in which was convenient. Parking in NCP Westgate was very close and easy to find.

There are a lot of steep stairs, so not an accessible location for disabled guests. We happened to stay on the hottest night of the year so far which meant the room was hot, however a decent fan helped move the air and made it much more comfortable. Due to the awesome location there was quite a bit of street noise,l personally not an issue - just bring ear plugs

Shower was broken not very clean

Was on the top floor and the sky light doesn't open to let any air in. It was really hot and there was sadly no fan.

Location is great!

The stairway smelt musty, the room could do with being painted better, the shower went hot then cold. Then they were trying to say they put us in the wrong room, even though the man in the Gyro Hut, where we checked in, said my name then gave me the key to the room! Saying that the lady dealing with it was very professional and helpful and it did get resolved in the end.
