In the centre of town,nice big room with everything you need

The only thing I liked was the location of the property, which was convenient for where I needed to get to while in Cardiff.

The room was several flights of narrow stairs up. It smelled really strongly of dirty water and there were several instances of damage to the walls (see photos). There was no warm/hot water for me to shower the morning of checkout, despite trying on two occasions to leave the shower running so it could warm up. I was honestly appalled at the lack of quality for a room I paid to stay in.

Location was ideal, went to a gig at the Y Plas and was a ten minute walk away, so many pubs, bars and restaurants in the vicinity. Clean room, en suite toilet and shower, just the job for what we needed.

Location was perfect, 5 minutes from the train station, 1 minute from Cardiff Castle and set right on the high street for food/shopping

Unfortunately, TV didn't work or the WiFi, i didn't mention this to the staff as I was out most of the time anyway. Bathroom was quite tired, shower door didn't close properly and a tap was loose and moved around. Also, carpets on stairs were coming away and could be a trip hazard.

Great location. the room does what you need, everything worked fine. The stairs really aren’t as bad as others are making it out. Despite being on a busy street it felt very safe.

The shower wasn’t great, only a curtain on a cubical shower so water got everywhere (but there was a drain in the floor). It’s outdated but if you’re not spending too much time in there it’s not an issue.

Reasonable price , good staff, central location.
