As expected for a 4 star hotel.

Nice property, modern, well maintained, comfortable. The public spaces seemed excellent though we were only overnighting. Arrival staff were distant and not the friendliest. The only other comment … we were dining very early (2:45pm) as we were off a red eye flight. We went to an empty dining room and the gentleman would allow us to sit a reserved tables by the window as they were set for evening dinner. We were not impressed. Again the service was distant and not overly friendly. Breakfast was somewhat of an improvement. How about a bit of friendliness, a smile, and a bit of warmth? Otherwise … nice hotel.

Really nice hotel right outside Maashaven metro. Stayed 2 nights in August. Very efficient check in although a slight mix up in our room for the 2nd night as we were going into a double but rectified quickly. Room had great view over river, spotless room everything feels new, bed was very comfortable with great pillows. We didnt have breakfast but had dinner in the restaurant in the evening which was excellent. Its a 2 min walk from Maashaven Metro with takes you direct into Rotterdam in 7-8min. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone

The hotel is gorgeous and staff are attentive. We booked a family room, which was very spacious, with huge comfortable beds. The shower was powerful and bathroom stylish (although no shelving to put anything). The room was very clean and TVs had a few English channels plus let you streaming content from your phone.. We had dinner and breakfast in the restaurant which was very nice, service exceptional. The drawbacks are location. The hotel appeared to be in a bit of a seedy area of Rotterdam with adult shops around and a rave across the road (although this is only on Saturday nights and could barely hear it). It is a 45 minute walk to the centre although a metro station right next door and the Rotterdam transport system is very easy to navigate. The hotel is huge and therefore we found it quite noisy. The atrium reverberates sound, so the wedding party based on the floor above us going in and out of rooms and hanging out in the corridors until 4am was echoey. We had to complain to reception when they began putting on music and singing at 2.30am and to the hotel's credit they were up there like a shot, however, it did not completely quieten down and they were still shouting in the corridors and banging doors constantly. The next night we then had the sounds of people leaving the rave across the road at 5.30am. Also the breakfast and parking is not included and this added on 260 euros to our two night stay - so bear this in mind when comparing pricing of other hotels. There is parking outside but it works out the same, much better to use the hotels very secure underground garage parking. But all in all this is a beautiful hotel and feels luxurious, just a few issues.

Great location, great room, and overall great experience

Unfortunately the noise from the hallways is very loud and easily heard inside the room. Even when sleeping with earplugs in it could be heard. Overall cleanliness was not great. There was a layer of visible grime on our TV remote, a half eaten cup of smelly rotten yogurt from a prior guest in the refrigerator, and no hand soap in the bathroom soap dispenser. Interior finishes are quite nice and the location is convenient. Overall though, I wouldn’t come back.

Room 1224 was amazing. The best views, spacious, the hotel staff were very accommodating.
