10/10 experience at this hotel. Seamless check in, great breakfast, comfortable beds, large showers (seems rare for Italy hotels), world class service at the front desk (all of them); they even helped arrange a taxi ahead of time at 4am to get to the hotel. One of the best hotels at the best location. Book it and you will not regret it

We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay at the Taodomus Hotel! Highly recommend to stay here! Rooms were clean with nice balcony. Perfect location on the Corso Unberto. All the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly and always made us feel welcome. Especially the front desk ladies and our morning chef, Vincenzo and wait staff Antonio and Laura.

What a lovely hotel in a lovely town. The whole experience at the Hotel Taodomus was just perfect. The only thing that went out was the elevator but we just took the stairs and it was good for us to do that anyway. It was fixed before we had to get the luggage downstairs. Our room was large and clean and quiet. The breakfast here is top notch and not just buffet but order the entree to go with the buffet treats and other savory items. It was just the best time!

My husband and I had reserved a room for one night at this hotel to celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary—a meaningful occasion for us, as we were married in Taormina. This was also intended to be our first stay at your property. Unfortunately, just two days before our check-in, my husband became seriously ill, making it impossible for us to travel. I immediately emailed the hotel to explain the situation. While I fully understand the terms of your cancellation policy, I still requested both a refund and, alternatively, a voucher—given that the room was fully paid and likely to be resold without issue. The responses I received from staff members Chiara and Mariapia were cold, dismissive, and entirely devoid of empathy or professionalism. At no point was there any real consideration for the circumstances or even a basic attempt to offer a gesture of goodwill. Their tone reflected a clear disinterest in customer care or long-term guest relationships. Many hotels—with far higher reputations and star ratings than yours—extend vouchers as a standard courtesy in similar situations. It’s a basic practice that acknowledges the value of customer loyalty and human decency. Sadly, this hotel appears more concerned with rigid policy enforcement than with building any form of goodwill or trust. In hindsight, the real mistake was ours—for expecting a level of service and compassion that this establishment evidently does not provide.
