Hotel & Gasthof Fraundorfer

Loved the authentic german feel of this guest house. It was a comfortable room and within steps of the town activities. Breakfast was great and loved the music, dancing and food in the restraint at night.

We loved our stay at Hotel & Gastof Fraundorfer! It's an adorable old guesthouse, the room was small but comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed. The host was very sweet and helpful. There were a few extra touches like candy on the pillow and a large bottle of sparkling water in the room that were unexpected but charming. Unfortunately we stayed on a Tuesday night so the on-site restaurant was closed, and we had to leave too early to enjoy the breakfast, so I can't speak to the food. The on-site parking is limited and in our case filled up before we got back, but there is a garage a block or two away where you can park overnight if the on-site lot is full, so this wasn't a problem for us.

This was a great hotel right in town. Walking distance to many restaurants although you must eat at the restaurant at the hotel at least once as it has live music, dancing and is very entertaining. We stayed in a building behind the hotel in a family room that had two bedrooms. The room was great and it was nice to have a separate room from the kids. The hotel has lots of character and I would recommend staying here!

Third time staying here. Absolutely love this place! This is the bed and breakfast experience you dream of when traveling through Europe! The breakfast is amazing! One of the best dinner spots in G-P! I can’t wait to go back!

Staff is not friendly at all. Planned on staying 2 nights only ended up staying 1. Beautiful area, just pick another place to stay

The owner, Barbara, was very nice and very very hospitable. She speaks English very well and was super patient with all our questions. Awesome location and views. Highly highly recommend.

I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel & Gasthof Fraundorfer. The rooms were clean and well kept. Parking was also available in the back. Check in is easy, all you have to do is go into the restaurant and ask. The staff is very friendly and helpful. For those who don't know a little german the staff also speaks very good english. The location is fabulous. It is on a beautiful quiet, cobblestone street. There are lots of stores and restaurants within walking distance (some even within one to two doors away). I would definitely go again
