Hotel Victoria Lauberhorn Wengen, a Faern Collection Hotel

The location is great. We had a nice balcony with a great view as well of the mountains. It is very convenient to train station and restaurants in town. The breakfast had a large variety of foods for everyones taste. Food was fresh and delicious. The italian restaurant downstairs had great food and service. A bit pricey but so is everything in Wengen for the most part. One thing we really enjoyed, was the music they played outside in the square. Most places we have been travelling around, play "disco" type music and it gets old and irritating when you want to relax. Here they played very pleasant mix of Jazz type music. It was nice to sit on the restaurant patio outside, or even on our balcony enjoying a glass of wine after a full day of hiking. And I have to give a shout out to the staff as well. They are all very friendly and go above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable.

The first thing that was a bit irritating was the fact the pool/spa areas were all closed for rennovation. Part of the reason we chose this hotel was for the spa services they had. I was unaware of this at time of booking. We did not learn about it until a few days before our trip and it was too late to try and book elsewhere. But, the hotel went out of their way to make our trip special anyway, and that was appreciated. The temperature in the shower fluxuated a lot while showering, but a minor thing. Overall, we really loved Wengen and staying at this hotel. we would definitely stay there again. As I said, the staff is exceptional and very friendly which makes it an elevated experience.

Melhores noites da minha viagem! Cama confortável, quarto silencioso e escuro, dormimos muito bem! Café da manhã excelente. E a localização bem ao lado da estação também facilitou muito o deslocamento para os passeios.

Que o spa estava indisponível durante a estadia. Seria bom uma piscina quente no fim do dia.

It was close to the train.

It is tried looking and needed some repairs. The pool was closed because of them doing updates however other areas needed repairs as well. The staircase had roof damage as well as our door in the bathroom. Sad to say, I didn't get much sleep because of someone walking loudly or they were working somewhere in the building and sound traveled. I even made videos of the sound. I told the receptionist and he ensured me no work was going on. So?

The hotel is in the perfect location. It's in the center of the village and right near the train station. The hotel is clean and comfortable. We loved breakfast each morning and we were pleasantly surprised by the variety of foods to choose from. The views from the breakfast seating area were gorgeous as well. Our room had a spectacular view of the mountains. It was wonderful to wake up and see that view each morning! We will absolutely stay here again. As a side note, the restaurant in the hotel was also fantastic!
