Historic Hotel Steinbock

O local é um charme, ótimo quarto. Limpo e confortável. O café da manhã é delicioso. O vilarejo realmente não tem infraestrutura, mas é muito fácil se locomover de ônibus e trem para interlaken. Pudemos deixar nossas malas após o check out, o que foi muito bom.

A falta de um funcionário Full Time durante o dia atrapalha um pouco o check in. Caso não fale inglês ou alguma língua local, pode ser um pouco difícil entender as instruções por telefone. Sugestão: considerar uso de fechaduras eletrônicas para um check in mais fácil.

Hotel Steinbock is a beautiful old worldly Hotel steeped in history, that is pretty much where it stops, yes it is a 2 star hotel with good reason, plus side clean rooms was big enough for my wife, myself and our dog additional plus side breakfast was free and checkin and checkout was a breeze all codes and tech to open entrance door, to access room key on checkin, and simply drop key on top of reception desk there is no visible staff to speak of, plenty of hotel parking which is paid for, Very Central to all the attractive places, Interlaken, Lauterbrunnen, Grindelwald,

The rooms up in the roof are hot and there is no cooling fan for air circulation, open up the balcony door and window and bug heaven opens up mosquitos buzz around your head and because of the heat and bugs it is hard to sleep, 33 degree days and 15-20 degree nights it becomes uncomfortable pretty quick, the fridge is a share fridge in the hall way so we were reluctant to keep anything like fruits or chocolates in the fridge, Defintely not suitable for people in wheel chairs or anyone who has health issues with walking up and down stairs,could not stand up straight to have a shower because of the roof slope,

L’accueil sans personnel est compliqué rien est signalé en langue française. La télévision / chaîne suisse ne fonctionne pas ,

Super pour nous 2. Très bon petit déjeuner qui était inclus et nous avions une chambre avec terrasse. Apéro avec le coucher du soleil.... bruit calme et apaisant de la rivière en face... WoW !! Chambre rustique très belle et très propre. Billet de transport pour les alentours inclus. :-)

Rien. Nous recommandons cet endroit sans hésiter !

Location

The extremely small room with very little lighting. Also it was extremely hot so we had to leave the doors open which resulted in many flies in the room & bug bites.
