Villa d’epoca tenuta finemente con un bell’affaccio sull’Etna e … casello autostradale. I proprietari molto gentili, si può parcheggiare internamente al costo di 8€ al giorno escluso dalla tariffa delle camere. Le stanze, seppur d’epoca, tenute molto bene e la pulizia impeccabile! Peccato per la posizione non troppo comoda, nel senso che a piedi sono 20 minuti per arrivare in centro (passeggiata per vie non bellissime) e per andare al mare occorre prendere la macchina.

This B&B is truly so special, one of a kind. It's run by the sweetest/kindest older couple named Agata and Salvatore, who feel like the Sicilian grandparents you always wished you'd had. The estate is uniquely decorated with stylish antiques from top to bottom, truly awe-inspiring. Each room feels like a victorian dream, with no detail too small. The outdoor terrace which they serve you breakfast from is idyllic, with a view of Mt. Etna in the background. The pictures do this place no justice, you'll have to see it in person. Enjoy!

La signora Agata e il signore Salvatore (proprietari) sono stati come dei nonni, accogliendoci tutte le mattine con una ricca colazione, consigliandoci cosa visitare nel modo più comodo e conveniente ed essendo estremamente simpatici. A beautiful and traditional style villa with great views of Mount Etna. Villa is only a 15 minute walk to the beach and restaurants. The hosts were lovely, very welcoming and served a great breakfast each morning. Would definitely stay here again 😃.

Our stay at Villa Chiarenza was truly special — classy, charming, and it honestly exceeded our expectations. The villa is beautifully decorated with art pieces, giving it a vintage feel while still offering all modern comforts. The hosts were incredibly kind and created a lovely breakfast experience on the terrace each morning. Parking is a big plus in a town where it's hard to find, just make sure to check if it's included in your rate (otherwise it's €8/day — worth it and you will need it!).

We didn’t love Giardini Naxos itself — it’s quite crowded with cars, so the 20-minute walk to the beach may not be pleasant. But Villa Chiarenza felt like an oasis of calm and greenery in the middle of it all. Also, note that the villa is close to the highway, so it might be a bit noisy if you're a light sleeper.

The property is a 250 year old family home filled with fine furniture and art work. The guest rooms could use some updating for comfort.

This is a magnificent and charming old villa, filled with antiques and surrounded by a spacious garden. It is lovingly managed by a delightful elderly couple, Agatha and Salvatore, who take care of every detail with warmth and grace. Our room was clean and featured a large terrace overlooking Mount Etna. As noted in other reviews, you can hear some noise from the nearby highway toll station, but it did not detract from our overall enjoyment of the experience. There isn’t much to see in the immediate vicinity, as the villa is located in a rather plain residential neighborhood. However, it's just a short drive to the sea and beachfront restaurants, about 15 minutes from Taormina, and around 45 minutes from both Catania and Mount Etna. All in all, it’s a strategically located base for exploring the region.

Very friendly and hospitable owners. Despite the language barrier, they made our stay very comfortable. You feel like you are staying in a Palazzo! Impeccably clean and delicious breakfast.

Nothing negative. They are in the process of building a pool, so would have been extra amazing if it was ready.
