Hotel Weisses Kreuz

I like the fact that this hotel is walkable from the Interlaken West and also had great bus connectivity. There is 2 buses at the front door to Interlaken Ost, and few buses to Jungfraujoch region at the back. There is nearby self-service laundry, and foods are just downstairs. The hotel is rather old though, and no fan or aircon at the bedroom. I wish that they have aircon and fan to improve air circulations and better bathroom curtain to prevent user to move out of bath tub, or may be replace the bath tub to just be shower instead. When we were there the 2 bedside table lamps are not working, but that doesn't hinder our stay as the staff is great, breakfast is good, and i cannot vouch enough of the central location !!

Great size of rooms. Will recommend. Some issues: Unable to turn-off heating, so had to wedge open windows to make comfortable. Lighting on stairs poor.

Nice clean hotel in a great location in old town center of interlarken. When we check in, the guy receptionists are a bit cold. But nice to see the lady receptionist the next day is tatally warm and make us feel welcome. Bus 21 and 103 stop right in front the the hotel make a lot of convenient for the tourists.

The hotel is an average 3 stars. Positive: - located right next to the bus stop that serves Interlaken Ost and Interlaken West. - in the middle of many shops, with Coop just across the road. - room size is okay for 2 persons and luggage. - has a microwave at the pantry . - breakfast variety is good. You get warm eggs, ham, cereals, fruits, hash browns, vegetables etc - cleaning staff are very friendly and readily to provide amenities since I requested no cleaning. Negative: - as it is besides the main road, it can get noisy. - the windows are very dusty. - the level difference between the bathtub and bath floor can be quite high, making it slippery if we step on the tiles - hotel as this funny policy that if the bathroom floor is flooded, you will be charged $500chf. I mean no one was to flood the bathroom floor but the bathtub and shower area itself is so small. It quite restrictive, so everyday we shower with “fear”. There is no floor trap and proper waterproofing, it should be done instead of having such inconvenient imposed on the guest. - hotel corridor is dark. Need a switch to turn it on. - counter staff can be cold. An overall neutral experience.

Hotel Location is Great...Although rooms are on smaller side but overall nice experience..Round the clock Coffee and Tea available in common room near reception...Break fast spread is same everyday which can be a put off

Excellent sized rooms. Nice hotel at the heart of Interlaken.

Breakfast was amazing. The location is convenient. Very close to public transport.
