Hotel Weisses Kreuz

The hotel is in a great location, but there was mold in my bathroom and the bedding was dirty.

We decided to stay an extra night in Interlaken and had to book a room in another hotel as the one were in was full. Ended up directly across the street at the Hotel Weisses Kreuzand that turned out to be a fantastic hotel ! Older place but very well maintained. Everything worked and the room was in the corner of the building so it had good ventilation. Comfortable bed, quiet, convenient location. Great staff. I wished I had booked this hotel for all three nights! Great restaurant on n the street level.

Our stay in this hotel was excellent. Everything was nearby. Very convenient place. Breakfast was nice. Staffs very very friendly. Overall it was 10 out of 10.

I loved that it was close to Interlaken East train via a bus station and within a 7 minute walk to Interlaken West train station! I also appreciated the open room that we could use a small microwave or eat our salad from the grocery store! The breakfast had a good variety!

The only person on the front desk was on the phone trying to solve some hacking or freud issue they were having so they could get paid. We had to wait 20minutes to check in. The room smell musty like moldy almost. Thankfully we only stayed the night and left early morning. The hotel tries to provide a good experience but still needs work. We spent 3 nights across the street which was way better experience.

Clean room, everything worked. No problems. It was good to see a fan in the room, this part of the world seldom gets hot but without A/C it’s nice to have a fan for when it is hot. Staff was super!

Elegant, spacious, and clean. Excellent location being so close to both train stations with free bus pass around the city & areas and complimentary free cold water as room had a small fridge. I would have loved to have given a 4 STAR rating for the reasons above.. however, what let's it down was the following points 👉 *The bathroom has no shelves with only 1 rail and a very impractical and hazardous bath/shower to climb up into. You must be very careful not to flood the floor as the shower head sprays past the half glass door. * BREAKFAST, tho appreciated, the setup was sloppy. No hand sanitizer, lack of serving spoons for food choices. Coffee cups are too small for auto machine serves. No milk for cereal other than tiny thumb size pottles. Horrible tasteless jam, & no maramlade. Tho the honey packs and Nutella was a least a choice. The whole experience would have been a lot better if the staff would just smile a little more. It's not an easy job, I understand that, but if you don't enjoy people, seek a different job, as many would love to work in such a beautiful historical hotel.

This hotel was an easy 5 min walk from the Interlaken West train station. The front desk manager was very friendly and helpful, explaining how to get around town. Coffee and tea were available in a common area. Our room was super clean, with good lighting and everything we needed. We could walk to a Coop grocery in about 3 minutes, very convenient.

The experience overall was great with the staff being extraordinary helpful. The only drawback was that we were told that parking would be 25 francs for 24 hours and we were charged 34, we parked for 20 hours.

Good location ,hotel is fine .You get a free bus pass when you check in . the train that goes up the mountain, goes from the east station so you need to take the bus to get there . Good laundry close by . lots to eat in the area
