For the price we paid, it’s one of the worst hotels we have stayed at. Old, outdated, cracked walls, peeling paint. Uncomfortable bed and pillows. Breakfast was decent and that was the only good thing. It’s way overprice for what it has to offer. I wouldn’t stay here again.

Squeaky clean white bathroom, crisp white cool sheets and bedding, super friendly staff, free bus transportation in front of hotel throughout Interlaken, close to shopping, several restaurants and Coop supermarket stores, large breakfast selection. This hotel had it all!!

I recently stayed at a hotel that felt more like a guesthouse due to its numerous rules and fines for breaking them. It seemed the hotel had imposed these rules because of previous unpleasant experiences with other guests. The cleanliness was average, and the checkout time was strictly enforced at 11 AM, with penalties for late checkout. During my summer stay, the room lacked air conditioning and had only a fan, which was inadequate. The assigned room had windows that couldn't be opened, making it feel cramped and uncomfortable. The corridor outside was cooler than the room itself. One night, there was no hot water without any notice. When I reported this to the front desk, the receptionist was very apologetic but indifferent, insisting there was nothing she could do and that the checkout time remained 11 AM. Fortunately, hot water was restored later that night. The hotel has a unique layout, with some rooms located between floors, requiring navigation of some stairs after the elevator. This added a bit of charm to the place, though it might be inconvenient for some guests, especially when carrying luggage. In the breakfast area, a tall black staff member was very disdainful towards guests, aggressively blaming them for damaging dish racks that were already worn out. This was extremely humiliating. 我最近住了一家酒店，感覺更像是有很多規矩和罰款的家庭旅館，或是招待所。顯然，酒店因為之前其他客人的不愉快經歷才制定了這些規矩。酒店的清潔度一般，並且嚴格要求在上午11點退房，若超時則會被罰款。 在我夏季入住期間，房間沒有空調，只有一台風扇，這完全不夠用。分配給我的房間無法打開窗戶，讓人感覺狹窄且不舒服。走廊的溫度比房間裡還要涼爽。有一天晚上，沒有任何通知就停了熱水。我向前台報告後，接待員非常抱歉但態度冷淡，堅持說她無能為力，而且退房時間仍然是上午11點。幸運的是，當晚稍後恢復了熱水。 酒店的布局比較獨特，有些房間在樓層之間，需要在乘坐電梯後再走幾級樓梯。這為酒店增添了一些魅力，但對於某些客人，尤其是攜帶行李時，可能會有些不便。在早餐區，一位高大的黑人員工對客人非常不屑，強烈指責他們損壞了已經破舊的碗架，這讓人感到非常羞辱。
