Amber Boutique Hotels - Hotel Amber

A lovely small hotel on the edge of Krakow Old Town. Clean room, comfortable bed and very approachable staff (you are encouraged to book direct!) The high spot for me was the delicious breakfast.

Perfect location and excellent service for a first time visitor, who wants to explore the sights. The Amber is quaint and clean, but there are not a lot of amenities. Daily housekeeping service is provided on request and each guest (at least I did) receives a hand/bath towel. However, my room was lovely -- clean, comfortable, and spacious. Bed was great! I stayed in a Double Deluxe room in the Boutique. The Design portion of the hotel is newer so pay attention when booking. There may be differences in the rooms. The reception area is small as are the common areas and there were eight of us traveling together. Unfortunately, the weather was a bit rainy/chilly so the outdoor area was not open. But, again, the hotel was nice, room great, and breakfast had plenty to meet my needs -- juices, yoghurt and breads/pastries to cooked eggs and meats. Cut up fresh fruit for the yoghurt would have been nice.

The location was very great. We were able to get separate beds as we were travelling with a friendgroup.

The staff was not always friendly. The gluten free bread was very dry, like bread that is way over a week old . When we asked to toast it they suggested the toast maker in which they used to toast the other bread. After a lot of explaining and waiting they finally managed to bake the bread with some butter, at least it wasn't that dry anymore.

Excellent hotel, rooms were nice and clean, I really liked that you can choose when you wish for cleaning of the room. Delicious breakfast with some local delicacies. Location just outside of the old town gives some peace but everything is still within walking distance

I like everything about this property. It is superb. This is my 3rd time staying in Amber Boutique hotels in Krakow and the standard is extremely high.

L'hôtel est idéalement situé près du vieux centre et le personnel est vraiment très bien. Le petit déjeuner est très copieus. L'hôtel possède un spa et une petite salle de sport.
