Nice breakfast, but located in busy and loud area.

Far from the city and doesn't have a restaurant too close

The mattresses need to be replaced! That is my only negative comment! The breakfast is really good for only 5 euros and the personnel is friendly. The walls are a little thin, but I mean there is nothing they can really do about that

Overall, the staff were very friendly and willing to go out of their way to help. The room walls/doors were a bit thin so a lot of the outside corridor noise could be heard (ie. crying baby).

Great location on the edge of Galway, easy to get to without having to contend with lots of traffic. We came late at night so we did not get to check out the neighborhood.

Amber Hill Guesthouse is a great spot to stay if you want to be close to all of the "Action" in Galway. They have off-street parking and city centre is a few minutes away in a cab if you want to go out and enjoy the evening and a few drinks without the stress of driving or feeding a parking meter. The accommodations were good, the breakfast option was worth it if you want to fuel up before you go out for the day without having to go find a spot for food. The folks at the desk were helpful in hailing cabs, maps and also personal recommendations of places to go. Would stay here again or reccomend to a friend anytime.

Nice hotel but the fact breakfast extra for €10 was upsetting when I thought it included
