Lux Fatima Hotel

A perfect place to stay in Fatima. Close to the sanctuary, a five minute walk. I think this is ideal as it’s quiet here. If you stay at one of the hotels closer to the sanctuary, you’ll hear buses coming and going filled with the noises of tourists. Come out of the hotel and turn right and it’s a five minute walk to the sanctuary. Turn left and it’s a 10 minute walk to where the children lived and grew up. The staff here are very helpful and multilingual. The breakfast is plentiful. I think it really is the ideal location for a stay here.

The exterior looks worn and could do with a coat of paint . The shops which seem to be part of the hotel are mainly vacant which doesn’t make the property look appealing. The staff were attentive and friendly and the breakfast was good.

The only thing that i like is we are very closed to the sanctuary, accessible restaurants, but the hotel don’t serve llunch & dinner, but our stay is fine

Average. Customer service is average. Breakfast is ok.

Chambre trop bruyante

Para um hotel 4 estrelas muita coisa a desejar: quarto com fraco isolamento de som, pequeno almoço de um 3 estrelas, atendimento confuso, banheira sem possibilidade de tomar banho de imersão, inundações na casa de banho com um banho de chuveiro por mau isolamento… Para um 3 estrelas ok, para um 4 precisa de algo mais (isto sem falar que nem piscina nem spa estavam a funcionar)

Foram feitos pedidos na reserva ignorados no check in

Ao lado do Santuário e restaurantes, quarto bom, estacionamento free Check-in antecipado não autorizado, o que atrapalhou bastante nossa viagem Estacionamento poderia ser melhor sinalizado e informado, a entrada é pelos fundos do hotel e antes da portaria

I had no issues with the property because it’s nice, the breakfast is fine but unfortunately the management is not too much efficient - I have a special medical condition and I have a special medication that need to stay in the fridge. At the moment of the booking the fridge was included for this reason I chose them, also mostly of the hotel in Fatima where we stayed in the past provided fridge. In the room the fridge was closed with a door because is part of a kitchen. After several requests to open the door and have accessibility to the fridge, the personal assured the door is open immediately (first lie) after 2 days of staying finally the door was opened, but surprisingly the fridge doesn’t works. Long story short I had to leave a day before for this reason and the hotel refused to (because their faulty) refund me the last night. My booking provider tried to negotiate with them, but one receptionist said:” if was booked with us we’ll refund you but your provider not” so if you get the room 642 be aware of this inconvenience and if you need to use the fridge consider this comment
