"3 days in Ambleside"

A lovely few days in a very conveniently placed, friendly hotel. The room was very comfortable with a nice bath/shower available (great water pressure for the shower too). Breakfast facilities were nice, with food cooked to order. Main restaurant facilities were across the road in a sister hotel - we didnt try it so cant comment further on that. Hotel was directly across the road from the main pier for boats across windermere, and only a 10 min stroll into Ambleside centre. Would happily stay again

Lovely hotel. The staff were all very friendly and efficient, the room was clean and very comfortable and the breakfast options were fantastic. It's a great location, 15 mins from the centre of Ambleside, but very close to the lake. I look forward to staying there again.

The view from hotel is nice and it's very close to the city. The room condition is great. The shower is hot and the water volume is great. We had 2 rooms and had a great stay there.

Well maintained property in nice location close to lakeside. Bedroom was comfortable and well decorated with newly updated bathroom. Breakfast was adequate, although restricted by COVID requirements. Seemed expensive at time of booking but possibly better value than we thought in comparison to other properties we have stayed at on the same trip.

"Nice short stay venue"

Nice B&B venue. Staff were very hospitable. Good breakfast. I would have liked a room fridge but you can't have everything. Room was quite large with an enormous double bed. The shower in the bath was fiddly and I ended up with water all over the floor and window sill. Apart from that all good.
