Hotel Silvester

The hotel was clean, the staff went out of their way to accommodate us for breakfast with an exceptionally early departure. Everyone was great.

We expected a generic airport hotel, but this was a pleasant country inn. Not slick, but very comfortable and VERY bucolic. Really a lovely rural spot to find oneself after a long tiring flight. I'd have been happy to have a couple of days here, although we only used it as a sort of transit stop. It was a really nice first glimpse of Slovenia--mountains, farms, churches all around.

It is good, we like it. I hope to come back to this village some day.

Staying here was great. Literally 5 min away from airport. Staff was very helpful and friendly. They made sure you were at comfort. The only small problem was the smell of farm! But you get used to it. Other than that, I'd def stay here again. Do call for a shuttle to pick you up, it's quite pricy getting a cab!

only one thing - that's typical to Slovenia - The site said "free breakfast" but the hotel insisted to charge 5 Euro per person for the breakfast. Although is small amoun, there was a conflct between what the confirmation email said "free breakfast" and the reservation that the hotel recieved said (according to the hotel desk man) "breakfast excluded". Maybe "hotels.com" has an answer to this issue ?

Loved my stay-only inconvenience was trying to get to n from Ljubljana everyday as the bus took nearly an hour...but the place was great n so was the breakfast buffet

We stayed in a double room at Hotel Silvester last week. Upon arrival we were greeted and asked if we would like breakfast for €6 each. We agreed and went to room, it had been a hot day and we thought during our two week stay of Croatia and Slovenia we had booked all rooms with air con, I asked the man on reception who may have been the owner, he said he had given us the nicest room but it doesn't have air con. He gave me the key to another room with air con to see if I wanted to move but I decided to stay put as our room allocated initially had a nice seating area and more space for bags. The hotel staff upon my request brought a stand up fan for us so it was absolutely fine. The bed was a bit odd it was two single beds together but had a faux leather squishy divide right down the middle which wasn't great. Pillows and linen nice. TV signal good and was nice to have some English channels. :) wifi good. The shower was nice and powerful in the petite bathroom. You could hear the shower running through the pipes pretty loud in the hallway and bedroom. The breakfast was a lovely selection of cereals, cold meats and cheese, toasts and yoghurts, jams, spreads, fruit. Cooked eggs were offered. (Watch out though cos most of the yoghurts were out of date) We were told to pay upon departure. Staff friendly and always available. I wonder if there would be enough parking during busy periods. The hotel was certainly not full when we stayed and we arrived home from the city around 11pm and was only 1 space left. Overall pretty pleased. Clean room, spacious, friendly.

The hotel is in lovely village, the staff were very helpful to a none Slovenian speaking visitor. Helping me with directions, bus timetables. They will pick you up and drop you off at the airport, Solvenia is a lovely clean country

Our flight for Frankfurt was leaving at 7am, so this was the perfect place to stay. Very helpful staff in the hotel and the restaurant and the driver who took us to the airport (at the time we requested the night before)...sorry we didn't have time to try out their Wellness Spa and massage treatments!

Desk staff was very accommodating. Breakfast was arranged early for us and transport to airport was arranged. Nice breakfast and excellent service. Comfortable, not fancy, but served the purpose.
