Hotel Principe

Fantastic place. Location on the heart of it all. Dry clean and modern. Comfortable Large king size bed. AC worked well. Great price for such a great room. We had a large terrace overlooking the lake.

Short distance from the historic old town.

The hotei is very close to the Central railway station and also very close to the historic centre but Modena

The staff were welcoming and friendly, especially the young receptionist. The property seemed to have been refurbished recently and was bright and clean. Comfortable beds and good bathroom. Plenty of choice of good food for breakfast. Excellent location between train station and historical centre. We had difficulty finding channels on the TV but a member of staff came to help straight away and resolved the problem. If visiting Modena again, I would book Hotel Principe without hesitation.

Parking can be slight problem.

Hotel address was incorrect. When arrived we were greeted by bars, no sign of life, and closed sign. Hotel had changed its main entrance but left no notice on the bars. After half hour of wasted time we accidently found the entrance around the corner. It was very late at night, we were tired, and did not need this. Why the hotel did not post a simple note on the closed location is still a wonder. Otherwise the hotel was a good bargain and value.

The staff was friendly. Even the breakfast was until 10 am. We still could have breakfast. Walking distance to restaurants, Ferrari Museum. Just around the corner a nice church.
