Hotel near the center and also the office I was visiting

Friendly & helpful staff in a convenient location near the train station, easy access to the Ferrari museum shuttle. Excellent restaurant very close. Nice breakfast service.

This is a great hotel with a great central location in Modena. I arrived by train and had a quick, comfortable walk to the hotel. I sampled several restaurants within walking distance, both along one of the main streets and in the old town district. Very enjoyable. The hotel staff is bi-lingual and very accommodating. They called for taxis in the morning which arrived within minutes and shuttled me off to my business engagements. The hotel is clean and nicely appointed. The ground floor houses the reception desk, a small lounge, and breakfast area. Upper floor hold guest rooms which are, typical for Europe, small and efficient. There was barely room to walk around the bed. The rooms were nice, clean, and had private bathrooms.

Hostess was great. We got into Modena late and wanted a simple dinner. She called a restaurant down the street and let them know we were coming as it was getting

Hotel Principe was perfect for our stay in Modena. We were just a five-ten minute walk from the train station, the city center, delicious restaurants and the Enzo Ferrari Museum. Not only was this hotel in a convenient location, it was clean, roomy, very nicely appointed and had a delicious buffet breakfast. The staff, especially Giacomo really went out of the way to ensure that we had the best stay possible by organizing many details of our visit. He really made everything run smoothly and conveniently and we appreciated the help!

Room was adequate, bathroom was a little small, but serviceable. Dinner reccomendation was great!

When we first checked in, we received rooms on the first floor. Those rooms have not yet been renovated and smelled like stale cigarettes. We were not pleased and let the front desk know. They informed us that they were fully booked that night but would move us as soon as they could the next day. While we were out the next day, they moved all of our luggage for us and gave us upgraded rooms. We were very pleased with this solution and the new rooms are MUCH nicer. Once they complete their renovations, there won't be a bad room in the house. The location is also very convenient to the train station and walkable to restaurants and city center. We definitely recommend Principe for their customer service and the quality of the new rooms!

Great attention to detail, nice a spacious room. The best was the breakfast. Full of great food. Definitely a good place.
