Hotel Principe

Very convenient to train station and Ferrari museum, which was the main reason for our visit. Small, clean, comfortable rooms with great breakfast. Walking distance to downtown square with many restaurants, cafes etc. very pleasant, would like to have stayed more tan one night.

This is the first time I have ever felt the need to write a review and you will read why. When my wife and I arrived at the hotel and asked about their breakfast options, and when they heard that we would like vegetables in addition to what they usually serve, the next morning, we were served vegetables to our table. Also, when we arrived for breakfast, the staff asked us what we'd like to drink, which they served, and continued to serve every morning when we were there. The staff also answered all of our questions, and researched and booked reservations for us as requested. In particular, Simona and Maricio were lovely. Regarding the room and other services, the room was clean and beautiful, and the Internet was 50 mbps up and 50 mbps down. This is the fastest Internet I have ever experienced. When we left the hotel at 5am, the staff prepared drinks for us (i.e. espresso and tea) and light food to take with us to the airport. This is a hotel that all hotels should aspire to be like.

I enjoyed my stay here. It was close to the train station, and an easy walk to the city centre. Staff were helpful. Hotel seemed clean. Worked well as a base for my stay in Modena. Overall, I enjoyed it and would stay here again.

The location was great! Close to the train station and walking distance to the Center. The hotel was very clean and our room was an updated room. However, it was extremely small. There was just enough space to walk around the bed. Luckily we had small suitcases otherwise we wouldn’t have been able to move. The bathroom was updated but the ancient hair dryer was left. I had brought my own this time but normally I don’t. The breakfast had a good selection. Overall it was a nice stay. I would rate it a 3 star not 4 as it is.

We spent 4 nights at Hotel Principe, the staff were excellent, helpful & informative. The room was small but the bed was comfortable, the shower was hot and the air-conditioning worked very well. The hotel is in an excellent position, close to Modena Railway Station, Ferrari Museum and a comfortable 15 minute walk to the City centre. Also they put on a great Buffet Breakfast every morning that you don't want to miss I certainly would stay at Hotel Principe again and I would recommend it to my family & friends

The staff at hotel were not very friendly. To expensive for what it offers. Could not get the safe to work. The air conditioner did not work right it was either to hot or to cold. I would not stay there again.

Hotel is very close to the main railway station and about a 7 minute walk from the centre of town. It is a good base for a stay in Modena being clean and comfortable. Breakfast is good with a wide choice. I would recommend it.

The accommodation was fine. It appears the hotel has remodeled bedrooms - they have a very contemporary feel. Nice to have a comfortable KING size bed. Bathrooms are fresh and clean however offer a very small shower and no Kleenex. If one is not overweight, the shower works fine. Dining room is fresh looking with linens.

Location good for station, and access to the town centre. Hotel has all usual facilities, room slightly old fashioned.
