Fairway Hotel

I paid for a deluxe room (I have stayed in this room type previously). The first room we were given was towards the top at the back and a tiny dark cold room. I challenged the room type but was told all they had. We then discovered the bathroom hot water tap did not work (no water), so I reported. When we went to bed that night, we had no heating and were freezing cold. After putting several layers on and getting to the point we were shivering with the cold and feeling damp too I called the emergency number. We were told to move to the room next door, which by this time was 2am. We moved, taking our very thin duvet to the next room, so at least we had 2 covers. The next day, after showering and putting damp clothing on, I complained at reception that we couldn't spend another night like that. We were moved to a third room, which, although still not deluxe it was warmer, and the heating worked. I have sent an email to the property, but they haven't had the courtesy of responding. I was very pleasant whist we were there, and at least I believe i should have been refunded our first night accommodation as we dodnt really get much sleep and the inconvenience of having to move to a third room.

Location, price, availability, very friendly staff.

They need put more effort in cleaning the rooms. There is a kettle in the room but no place to connect it.

Beds a bit hard and uncomfortable

Great location. Bed was very comfortable. Room was clean. Great for a budget b&b. The lady that booked us in said because there were a few people staying she would put on karaoke and games with shots. She told us if anything wasn't right let her know asap and would try and put it right. We had no complaints. Had a great stay.

The parking outside. The road has loading only lines on opposite side of the road all full. I had a blue badge and got a parking ticket as its a limited times of parking.
