Grand Meteora Hotel

This hotel is outstanding. bar open 24/7 and the staff really went out of their way to treat you well. The road going in was a little disconcerting because it is small and really not kept up, and it looks like you are driving into nowhere then you open up into this beautiful hotel. Only complaint is the showers are designed screwy, like an old European hotel would have the shower on the long side instead of the short side, I don't understand why they would do that in a new hotel, but it wasn't awful just not as good as it could be. It is also very convenient to the sights around there.

Several gunshots were fired outside of hotel followed with screaming of women and children. When I reported this to staff and the “boss” I was told to ignore it. I packed up and got another hotel

Great hotel, great location

The only negative thing was there was no coffee maker/hot water kettle in the room. I was told they didn't have enough for every room .

Nice stay. Rooms very comfortable BUT can hear the next room plus hall way. Dining staff ignore yoi when you are trying to explain something important to them. eg milk was turning. Nearly off. Reception girls were lovely so too Nicos.

Great view, nice and comfortable room, friendly staff, awesome experience

During the time of our scheduled stay at the Grand Meteora, we were notified of a situation that required aiding those affected by a disaster that required coordination with the staff. When we brought the issue to their attention they were not only unhelpful, but they made up dates and times that were completely false to justify their actions.

One of the best hotels we've ever stayed at. Our balcony had the entire view of the amazing mountains in Meteora. Just sitting back and relaxing with a glass of wine and staring at the view was very enjoyable. The staff there was very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable. Basically everything you would want from a good hotel stay during a vacation, they had it.
