Regent House Hotel

The Property is clean, Staff are very helpful specially Janine and David from Costumer service. Upon arrival key pick up instruction was so easy the same as the drop off.

Find a new hotel. Hotel is self check in which is fine as long as you have no issues. Contacting them is impossible. We had no hot water for our stay. The toilet barely flushes and the hotel is extremely outdated and in major need of upgrades. I do not recommend.

I would not recommend staying at Regent House Hotel. Throughout the majority of our visit, we had no hot water and a toilet that didn’t flush properly. There were no staff available on-site, and it was nearly impossible to reach anyone for assistance. Post-trip, I tried to contact the hotel to discuss compensation, but all efforts were ignored and ultimately dismissed. A very frustrating and disappointing experience—especially when even basic amenities weren’t provided.

Comfortable bed, close to many restaurants, walkable to the train station. Easy check in/out. Reasonable price for central Edinburgh.

Booked last minute. Good price and an ideal place for getting out and about. Comfy bed amd good bathroom

I work near the Regent and had to assist an elderly couple who had a booking for the Regent (they showed me their booking confirmation email) but the staff had not sent them the code to get in. Myself, a colleague and a customer all kept calling the number which went to a dead line. After multiple attempts at calling, someone finally picked up and informed the couple that there was no room for them and that they would have to find somewhere else. This couple travelled all the way from Canada and arrived to Edinburgh with no accommodation, and didnt offer them alternative options for different hotels. Such a disgrace. It should not be up to random members of the public to assist their own customers who now have no secure accommodation.

Very good location close to local transportation. Good food options around. Easy walks to all the sightseeing locations.

Wonderful stay. The location is just perfect. Host is super professional and helpful. En-suite room was clean though small. One has to climb the staircase with luggage, like in most European hotels. I will stay here again for the professionalism of the host & perfect location. Though the price-value equation wasn’t good, like in the most hotels in Edinburgh. Sharma
