Radisson Hotel Plovdiv

absolutely nothing bothered us...maybe the only thing was the music that we heard the last night of our stay....maybe was a wedding at the hotel?but was not a problem for us...

Huge, clean and well worth the price. Staff are helpful and informative. Would highly recommend

Everything about this hotel was fine, with one significant exception - the deafening music from the wedding parties which went on til around 2.00 in the morning and made it impossible to sleep.

Hotel staff were extremely welcoming when we arrived. It was the middle of the afternoon and we were hungry, so we had a late lunch at the hotel, after finding that it's prices were similar to those of restaurants we had eaten at before (hotel dining room prices are usually extortionately expensive). The actual lunch was as good as any other we had had. The walk to town was about a mile, rather longer than my wife was willing to put up with, but we found that buses 93 and 66 provided convenient transport to the city centre, the nearest bus stops to the hotel being at the junction of Maria Luiza and Lev Tolstoy. My wife had an excellent massage and facial in the hotel SPA at very reasonable prices.

The hotel was immaculately clean and the room was large enough to use the sofa at seating area.The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful .Bed was very comfy with perfectly clean white sheets .there was kettle and complomentry coffee and green tea .Generally speaking I couldn't fault the hotel and it services and staff .We had a late check out and they offered us the room for half our daily rate until 6 pm which was a relief .We had meals at hotel Resturant all during our stay which was well prepared and reasonably priced .

New hotel, away from the old town, need a car. Three weddings every Saturday and every Sunday. Soundproofing is good though!

My stay was comfortable and the staff were friendly.

The hotel was very nice - the room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The breakfast (included) was fine with lots of choice, although nothing special. All staff spoke good English - some were very friendly, others less so. My biggest complaint was the fact that on both the Sat and Sun night there was a wedding and on both nights there was a disco until 3 in the morning. I've stayed in many places with nightclubs but these are usually pretty well soundproofed - I've never experienced anything like this. On the Sat night in particular the fixtures in the room were literally vibrating with the noise of the bass from the music. And we were on the 4th floor. The Sunday night was not so loud, but still kept me awake until it finished. Complaints to the front desk were just met with a shrug. Although I asked repeatedly, a manager was never available to listen to my complaint. If it wasn't for the disco, my stay would've been fine, but this was a big issue in my opinion.

We spent four nights here in May. The room was quite spacious but the air conditioning under-performed, especially since we had the afternoon sun. We were very disappointed in the quality of the food in the restaurant. While located in a decent area, it's about a twenty minute walk to the pedestrian area,

I went to see the sights of Plovdiv for the first time and it was fantastic. The hotel could not have been any better. There was a wide, comfy bed, a fantastic mini-bar, Wi-Fi, the food in the restaurant was delicious. As a 4-star hotel it covered itself in glory. FYI, Plovdiv is a beautiful city. I had a massive case of the sniffles on the second day but that is not the hotel's fault or concern.
