Hotel Garni Evido KG Salzburg

This was by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The bed linens were dirty, the towels frayed, no AC, windows were broken, ceiling fan wasn’t working and when we asked for a fan, we were treated like we were asking too much! Do not stay here!!!

Buyer beware. The rooms are much smaller than the description would have you believe. The hotel was clean and the breakfast was adequate, but the room was very small. I was told in advance that I was reserving a "family room with 1 double bed, 1 twin bed, and 1 double sofa bed". I felt that the room description on Orbitz is insincere. What we got were 4 twin beds stuffed in a room the size of a college dorm room (maybe smaller). Otherwise, the hotel was adequate. I'm a firm believer in honesty. If the room is small, just tell me in advance and I'll be OK with it.

More like a motel or hostel. Above the car park. Entrance was simply a staircase (no lobby). Male staff at front desk was quite rude and impatient but the female cleaning staff was nice. We put our luggage there after check-out but no one responded to the door bell when we returned. Few minutes later, the cleaning staff unlocked for us and she considerately asked us if we need to use the toilet after we took the luggage.

Close to the entrance, there were ig huge garbage trolleys from nearby buildings. People in the bar downstairs were noisy all night.

it's located in a very good area. close to train station and car rental and town by walking. room is clean. u can request opposite site with street side will be more quiet. the receptionist is very nice and helpful.

I never actually stayed at this hotel as they sold my room although I had a confirmation number . We arrived at 8 pm , it’s hard to find , hidden behind a Shell station, the owner drove us to another hotel where I slept on the sofa as the bed was broken. What can I say ? About hotel garni ? It looked clean and I would have been quite happy to stay there , just really annoyed that they didn’t honor the booking, but he also fixed the problem he created and we were not charged for the hotel so no can’t complain about that.?

Room a bit small but lovely bathroom, comfortable bed and great breakfast, not far from train station and accessible to everywhere...

hotel looks like a motel building is old, not easily accessible (no elevator) and it's in the corner of a random building - doesn't look like a hotel at all and shouldn't be coined as a "hotel" breakfast was ok walking distance to city centre & main train station.

Good location. The free breakfast was ok. Overall a good cheap hotel.
