Construction made it noisy during the day but at night it was better

The description of this property is a complete misrepresentation. This is more of a hostel style hotel.

The property is next to a gas station, it was loud and hot at night without any AC and was not worth 300 euros a night. I feel fleeced. The food from the restaurant across the street got my son sick and made for a miserable stay.

We stayed here whilst travelling through Germany and Austria. We stayed in many places and this was by far the worst. Yes it was clean but I would never choose to stay here again, before you book please see below. - Our room had NO smoke detector in, it had been removed and wires showing near the window that had been taped up. Not surprised seeing as the hotel smelt permanently of cigarettes and tobacco. - The staff are incredibly rude, manners cost nothing. We only saw two staff members and saw nobody else. The reception is not 24 hours. - no luggage room it’s in fact the dining room, so we had to wait until after breakfast to leave our bags. It is in no way secure. All valuables were taken with us. - They seem to like fixing things with duct tape. The skirting boards were duct taped in our room and half falling off, wires on show near the window. Needs some serious maintenance. - Towels not replaced each day just put in different places which was frustrating as we didn’t know whose towel was whose. - location for walking into the city was ideal and some nice food places across the road, and if you are lucky you get to see the mountain on a clear day. However!!! you are right next to a noisy petrol station and have to access the hotel through an alley way, for a solo traveller this is not ideal. I would advise if you are going for the location trying the fashion hotel next door. We checked it out. - breakfast was ok, juice mostly water, some of the cutlery not very clean at all. Ok selection and was included in our room price, but the sheer rudeness from the female staff member the day before ruined our experience. We did not go back for the second day and opted to eat out instead. I always base a hotel on would I stay here again, and I can certainly say I would not stay at the hotel Evido again. I would rather try the hotel next door and pay that little bit more. I do not think any hotel room should be allowed to rent out rooms with no smoke detector. (Only the mountings where it has been disconnected) Very dangerous!!!!!

Absolutely terrible experience! We came at 1pm to check in, they told us our room is not ready. Then we came back at 2pm to be told that the hotel is OVERBOOKED (!) and that they booked us into another hotel without letting us know before. No apology even. He told us he even paid more for that room than what we paid, as if he was doing us a favour. Then he lied, saying it's 400m away, while in fact it was 1.1km away, further towards north, away from the center. To make the matter worse, that other hotel didn't have breakfast and we were supposed to go back to Evido to have breakfast there every morning. The guy was super rude also. Avoid at any cost!!!!

This hotel is located very near to the main railway station and is easy to find. I arrived at 1am following a train from Vienna and had no problems at all my key was left on reception and room easy to locate. Beds in hotel are comfortable and a good shower in the room. Excellent location and value for money

Staff very rude. No elevator in the hotel. And nobody heps you with bags going upstairs! Breakast is limited.

Once you find the front sliding door to the property, you are greeted by overflowing garbage cans. Then you have to hoof your luggage up a flight of stairs to the reception area. While the room seems clean, the fan made sounds all night. The television didn't work. It's in a very noisy part of town and from what I could tell, not a very safe place to stay.

We have spent one night at this hotel as a part of our Holiday. The room was very clean and well equipped. The breakfast was a typical continental breakfast. Parking can be possible somewhere on the streets nearby the hotel. Recommended for everybody.

Our reservation was cancelled for no reason by the hotel, one our before we could arrived. We constantly tried to call the hotel but they didn’t pick up. We also wrote an e-mail but we never got any answear for it. We went to the hotel to get some explanation but the receptionist (an indian guy) was rude, arrogant and lied to us. They gave our hotel room to someone else for a higher price. Sadly our case is not unique. I really don’t know how to this happened and why booking (we made our reservation on booking.com) let this. The hotel is unreliable and make fool of their guests. PLEASE NEVER BOOK A ROOM IN THIS HOTEL, THEY ARE FRAUD. I will never forget and apologize the scandales behavior of the receptionist.
