If your working around Bodmin this is a great place to stay. Good food, drinks and great service. Rooms are spacious and comfy.
We were well looked after and everything happened without any problems.
Stayed one night. Would not have stayed longer. Given a room in a coach house, which I was very surprised about because the description didn’t match the room. It was very cold and damp and felt like I was staying in someone’s garage. Very thin walls and I could hear everything coming from any room in that shed. The room itself was decorated nicely, it just didn’t feel like a hotel room. More like I was camping, and that is NOT my thing. Water pressure was terrible! Was not role about breakfast, so it was over when I went to check out, but owner was nice enough to get me coffee and milk for cereal. Plenty of parking and it’s convenient. Would not stay here again, and would only recommend for one night if need be. Like I said, it’s not my thing. Doesn’t mean it wouldn’t be suitable for anyone else, but I stayed here because everything else was sold out.

Although the hotel its self was fine for the money the restaurant prices are ridiculous and poor menu selection £18 for the cheapest steak which was pure gristle had. Etter from weatherspoons for £7
Nice homely feel to the place. We stayed in a cottage that had been split into rooms only downside was that the walls are very thin!
What a quaint hotel. Different to what was expected. A fantastic old building full of character and charm.
Excellent hospitality. Wonderful food and wine. Very easy to get to the coast at Wadebridge and Padstow. We travelled by bus and that was so convenient too.
