Room was lovely, good value for money but breakfast wasn’t served until 0800hrs which is weekend times, not weekdays! So even though I’d paid for breakfast, I couldn’t attend breakfast due to work, if they had advertised the breakfast timings on Hotels.com I wouldn’t have stayed here! Not suitable for business customers unfy, because its a lovely place
It’s an old property and I like that but the room was looking a bit tired and the shower in the morning was with warm water only Just little things really but the staff or rather the one young lady who seemed to be doing everything was extremely pleasant and gave an excellent service
Lovely old stone building with slate floors, low ceilings in keeping with its age, gorgeous range fireplace, many original features combined with tasteful modern conservatory where good breakfast was served. If you are looking for a modern boutique style stay, this may not be for you. If you enjoy older buildings with original features and the odd quirk, this could be for you. Our room - Padstow - was clean, fresh and full of light. Bathroom floor did squeak underfoot but it’s hardly surprising in a building of this age. We enjoyed a lovely three course dinner in the restaurant, great food, well presented. We will definitely stay here again. Loved it!

neither bad or good, lovely location, I think the photos of the place make it look better than it was, NO Bar, just bottle service. in ground floor room, so heard a lot of noise from upstairs, breakfast very limited time slot, seemed very busy popular spot, just not for me
