Pensión La Giraldilla

Small, old, as many rooms crammed in as possible, dirty kitchen with open sugar bag. Smelly drains. No reply on phone nr given by Expedia. New ph nr on door, which worked via wa. Clean room and bathroom though and yes great location but value for money terrible. This on khao san rd. Would cost 1/10. Would not stay again as felt really uncomfortable.

No frills type of place, excellently located and appropriately priced. If your the type that hasnt roughed it up somewhere like the koh san road, spend more and save yourself the bother of writing a snotty review. All things considered Pension la Giraldilla gets a thumbs up from me

I went to that place and it was a sign at the front door saying CLOSED

Check-in and check-out only via WhatsApp. Room and bathroom are small but clean, bed has been formed because it has been used too often. There is common room with free koffie, tea, microwave and waterheater. Big pro: location is only 5 min walking from bus station with bus to airport.

Comfy bed, amazing staff, very clean place and excellent location

Very helpful staff who gave good suggestions of where to go and see and also eat out. Also gave tips of where there was free Flamenco evenings and also free guided city tours. Room was very clean and good value, the hotel itself is in a good location and relatively quiet considering it is in the centre of town.

Amazing location, clean place, helpful staff (especially Inez ) Easy to walk to Sevilla Cathedral, to the trains, even to Triana. Would recommend / come back again! Thank you!

Negative: - Old property, definitely needs some restauration - Super small room - The bathroom and the whole property has a terrible smell of canalization - Bathroom has no ventilation - Dirty walls as they have to be paint several years now, with some awful butterflies as decoration - TV in the room but not working properly - No elevator and the stairs are very narrow Positive - Nice and helpful stuff - Room housekeeping everyday - Not far from bus station and until city centre (Plaza Nueva) it's around 10 min walk

No elevator, old building, there is a 5 € charge per night for the AC. We had to wait half hour for somebody to check us in. I understand someone cannot be there all the time but we arrived around 3 pm not late at night. We were happy that she changed our room which was supposed to be on the third floor to the second floor. Very well located if you travel by bus, 4 mins walk to Plaza de Armas

Our room had a big water damage and was extremely humid without an outdoor window. It constantly smelled of sewerage in the entire hostel and they charged extra for the air-conditioning. The service was unhelpful and wasn't trying in any way to improve the smell or humidity in the hostel. On top, it wasn't even that cheap to stay here. I would absolutely avoid this hostel!
