Loch Ness Clansman Hotel

Beautiful loch view room, booked day of and just made the check-in time. Front desk manager was friendly and gave advice on dinner options at the hotel and in town. Booked a twin room as that was available online and pleasantly surprised they only had a queen available, worked for us, but be aware they may not have the exact room type available. Included breakfast was good and very convenient location with boat tours across the road, accessible via tunnel (road is very busy and dangerous to cross). Had a little trouble with the toilet flushing but got it to work in the end. Loved that the windows opened for a breeze and that we had free parking. Don't think they have step free access to rooms but I could be wrong about that, reception is on the 2nd floor (considered 1st floor in UK where ground is what we would call 1st floor). Overall, highly recommend for a night at Loch Ness

From the moment we arrived the staff was very accommodating! The dinning experience for dinner was incredible! Everything tasted amazing! The breakfast was the best I have ever had! Spend the money you won’t regret it! The rooms were clean, steamy water, heated towel rack! There was a short walk to the shore of the Loch Ness that add so much more to this amazing experience! I give it a 10 out of 10! Thanks for the hospitality! Also a gift shop on site!

Beautiful location, great Restaurant food, polite and friendly staff.

We arrived to a friendly greeting from the manager who upgraded our room to one of their newly renovated rooms, which was wonderful and appreciated. The room was a great size and had a very comfortable queen bed and a twin off to the side, along the wall. There was direct access to a balcony that looked out over loch ness, with a decent angle view. The bathroom had a sizable shower with rain shower head that was really nice. There was a deep and long bathtub in the bathroom that was really great to soak in. The bathroom mirror was fog free and you could adjust the brightness as needed and could cycle through 3 color temps. All expected amenities were in the room e.g. coffee cups, coffee maker. Everyone at the hotel was very nice and helpful. The service for breakfast and dinner was excellent, and the food and drinks were simply amazing. The set up of the restaurant is great by the front window, where you can sit and look out at the loch. if you are looking for a great experience at a hotel with great staff, excellent food, drinks, rooms and views, this is what you’re looking for.

Charming, quaint, super clean renovated....great food, friendly staff and atmosphere is awes!!!

I was disappointed with this hotel - the location was ok, but not much to see. For the price the room was tiny with absolutely no view.

Such a quaint and cozy place to stop for the mandatory Loch Ness experience. Lovely little place - nothing fancy but comfortable, cozy, clean and calming. It was a highlight of our road trip. The loch boat tour was right across the street - again, on most tourists' lists. The restaurant was lovely and fresh. Everything has beautiful views of the loch. And great gift shop and hand painted art by John Randal. Nice little treasure.
