Hotel Alda Bonaval

Perfectly situated to walking to cathedral and local pubs/restaurants. Also, we enjoyed a substantial discount on parking in close proximity to the hotel.

Great stay. Staff were very good and the hotel is very nice. The only negative we found were the bathrooms due to the fact that we had a very old shower area, a weird bathroom and a miniature sink. It was not at all comfortable for cleaning up.

The location of the hotel Bonaval was excellent. We were able to walk to the cathedral and surrounding area from the hotel. There were several restaurants nearby and parking garage was in the next block. The hotel gives a discount on parking fees. We really enjoyed the 24 hour buffet. It was great to have a place for a cup of coffee or a piece of fruit in the middle of the afternoon. The buffet included fruit, cereal, milk, yogurt, bread, ham, cheese, coffee, juices, and cake. The Wi-Fi. was good. We had a plumbing problem which was addressed quickly.

Nice easy walk to the cathedral. Nice breakfast buffet. A little more expensive than other similar properties in the area.

Very charming, comfortable with lots of characters, yet modern hotel in the old town, close to excellent restaurants. The staff were extremely nice and helpful. We booked the wrong date for our next hotel in San Sebastian and the front desk went out of their way to find us a room at the same hotel in San Sebastian and with a better rate than Expedia. Will definitely stay there next time we are in Santiago.

Rooms spacious, individual and well presented. Hotel close to old city and car park nearby with discount from hotel. All day buffet included in price was good. Free water in room. Would definitely recommend.

Good Location. Spacious and clean room with decent wifi connection

The hotel is within 5 minutes from the main Cathedral, it is clean and the staff is very friendly. the room we got was on the top floor with no view and stuffy. They have breakfast available all day long which was good for us if we wanted a snack.

English speaking staff ready to answer questions and help when needed. Beautiful garden area, very secure, bountiful breakfast bar open 24 hrs. Modern appointments in a rustic building/room. A perfect blend of old and new. Only gripe would be paid for 3 nights and only got bottled water and toiletries the first night. otherwise, top notch and a bit of luxury at the end of the Camino!
