"Charm and feeling made Lisboa Plaza seem dull"

8.0

Stayed for three nights but it is the sort of B&B where you emediately feel at home - could have stayed a month! A pearl! Warm reception from the owner who lives and work in the house. The beauty of the house, rooms and antiques... Nice garden and updated original kitchen and baths - very clean but with all the charm left. The location is actually really good since you have the tram 28 just around the corner and only a nice walk down to town. It is not the area where you should walk out late alone, better take a taxi to the door. Day time a nice quarter! Highly recommend this!! If you are sensitive to noice bring earplugs, it is an old building not built as a hotel. Buy some milk, cheese and fruit in the little supermarket next door. The stay is so worth the money, for convenient reasons I ended my stay at Lisboa Plaza which seemed so boringly hotely in comparison.

"Unique and charming"

10.0

Basically, it's a house that's been converted into a hotel. You share two bathrooms -which worked out fine for us. You share a kitchen for making your own breakfast -which was fine with us and a nice patio area to eat. We had a triple with antique furniture which was charming. You do hear the other people some and can tell when they turn on/off lights which was a little distracting. It was warm while we were there but the room had a fan which made it tolerable and it cooled down at night. The best part was the owner. He was very helpful and nice. He has very good English as well. The location is excellent. Short walk to the main square. Close to subway, bus and tram lines.

"Super location and host"

10.0

The best thing about the place is the host, we unfortunately stayed for one night on our way back home but he give us so much insight to Lisbon and portugal that we are already planning our next trip there. Location is superb, within walking distance of almost everything. The outside might look warned out but the inside is classic and full of character. There is a kitchen on every floor for guests to use with tea and coffee already on the table. For the price I think I could not find anything better in central lisbon.

"Good, not great"

6.0

I enjoyed my stay here, but the hotel definitely isn't in the greatest area. I constantly felt like I was having to walk at a quicker pace in the area right outside the door. Lots of trash in front of the hotel and a few creepy guys. As for the hotel itself, my host was extremely hospitable and knowledgable about Lisbon! The room was solid, but the doors between the rooms allow for ALL sound to travel, so you don't have privacy with that regard. I heard my neighbor's alarm every morning and could hear them breathing in their sleep. Kitchen is nice if you want to make your own breakfast. I would give it a 3.5/5 but this review doesn't let me do half points.

"Really lovely place to stay"

10.0

We were very happy to arrive at such a wonderful place, the house is so beautiful inside and we were given such a nice room. Our host was super friendly and helpful and we felt very welcome. The courtyard is amazing and the location of the B&B is great and just a small walk from the city centre. Thank you Family Macedo! From Debbie and Stef

"Great and friendly"

10.0

I had a great experience, stayed four nights at the hotel. The owners were very friendly, and even doubled a tour guide on one occasion. Room was very large with authentic old furniture. Would definitely come back. Downsides: as it is an old building, sound proofing is virtually non-existent.

"Great Hospitaliy BUT should be adverised as Hostel"

6.0

Very good location, within 15min walking distance you are downtown. Very good price and free spacious parking. Antonio the owner is amazing and provides loads of local tips and guidance. Overall it was very clean but they only offered one towel (same for body/face/hands) that was not changed during our 4d stay. Also it should have been advertised in Expedia as Hostel or at least mention that you are sharing the bathroom with others. Finally although is advertised as having breakfast dont expect any real one, there is some frozen bread in the freezer and some butter/marmalade/milk in the fridge. I guess though for the price paid it was still good value for money.
