Staff - Wonderful, amazing, excellent, helpful, efficient, professional! Always ready to help! Spectacular views...breathtakingly beautiful! No cars allowed - no parking. You must be in good shape to walk uphill with your luggage to the hotel, unless you request the hotel for pick-up from city center. Everybody walks the hill to hotels and residences. Very relaxing, calming, peaceful - every comfort.

Charming, intimate feeling at the historic hotel with breathtaking location. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Buffet and breakfast were very good.

We were so happy in Falken. Excellent service, food and people. The only thing to consider to fox in the near future is the shower room, because it is too small and the handheld location doesn’t help,. The rest was nice and clean!!!

The good- Very beautiful scenery. The bad- Very old property, floors squeak, walls are thin, uneven floors make tripping hazard. The Ugly - The walk up the hill from the train station to the hotel is horrible. They don’t warm you about this not so they suggest making arraignments for at least your bags. I would not recommend this property to older people or those who are not in good health.

My kids and I enjoyed our ski holiday here. So much so they want to come back next year! The food and the wait staff were a highlight. The breakfasts and dinners were great. They also have some very old wines available from their cellar for reasonable prices. The rooms are a bit dated and in need of a makeover after many years, but on a ski holiday you are only just sleeping there so we didn’t mind. The bar and lounge were quite comfortable. The location is great. Ideal for families and foodies unless you are looking for fancy or modern.

Great romantic old-style place, perfect service, very good food

Like a beautiful moment in time, this is a very well cared for gem. The rooms are comfortable but filled with antiques. We loved it! Beautiful scenery, and great visit. Would stay there again for sure. Had a cool vibe of classy antique.

The staff and lack of hospitality was the biggest disappointment. In Wengen there are no cars so it would have been nice to be offered help to and from the train station with luggage as the hotel is up on a hill. The staff was not very friendly at check in. The rooms had thin walls and you could hear conversations in the rooms next door. The beds were very uncomfortable and furniture felt very old. The hotel was clean but overall disappointing and would not stay there again.
