Riad Lorsya

Posizione ottima in centro nella Medina. 2 passi dalla piazza principale. Personale gentilissimo e stanza pulita. Colazione super, sia per qualità che quantità. Noi siamo Stati con nostra figlia di 5 anni e tutto è andato benissimo. Anche servizio transfer da e per aeroporto molto comodo.

Central to Jemaa el- fna square through the souk 15 min walk but quite a few alleys to get to riad tip would take photos of each turn, entrance to alley has sign Music Museum above Riad staff are very helpful speak good English . Not suitable if mobility problems lots of steep stairs ours was practically on the roof with 3 flights of winding stairs. Rooftop nice sitting area with sun loungers you can have breakfast brought up if you want to eat there. Breakfast very basic toast pancakes slice cheese and ham coffee fresh orange juice. There is a little pool beside breakfast table but very dark there is another one but looked quite dirty lots of little alleyways in riad with several settees and quiet spaces . Our room very basic bed on a platform but was clean and comfortable , room long and narrow settee and dressing table but no drawers had to leave clothes on setee as wardrobe had 3 hangers . No fridge. Air-conditioning not too noisy doubles as a heater as some nights were a bit chilly. Bathroom wet room shower which was warm enough shower gel and shampoo which pump was quite difficult to use. Hairdryer in drawer which was quite good . Wifi in our room adequate. Have been in better riads but was ok for what we paid . One thing that was alarming the speed of bikes coming round the alleys could easily been hit if you didn't hear them first .

Location was about a 7-10 minute walk to taxis but had a trolley for suitcases and someone to take bags to the Riad Breakfast was simple but very nice Room was very spacious but dimly lit. One of our 4 rooms had no windows and very steep stairs so not great if eyesight is not great or if a bit wobbly on your feet. Fridge in the rooms The rooftop terrace was lovely in the sunshine.

We all found it quite cold and drafty at Breakfast each day No bottled water, coffee or milk in the rooms.

The big problem is cleanliness,the rooms needed a big clean and then the daily clean,especially the bathrooms

The riad itself is extremely beautiful. I have stayed in around 4-5 riads at this point and honestly this one was on another level. I feel so happy that I got to see such a beautiful, traditional Moroccan house (or work of art should I say!). My room was the rose room and it was literally my dream bedroom style. The staff were very friendly and lovely to me which, to me surprise, was not the case at every single Riad I have tried. I needed some toothpaste in the morning and the staff member offered to go into the Souk and get me some when I would have happily gone myself had he directed me which I thought was very kind of him. The location is good. It is a little inside but once you are able to find it, it is truly not a problem. It is in great proximity to the main square and Souk. Excellent value for money!

The only thing that I personally think can be improved is the breakfast as if was very basic and honestly did not taste that fresh apart from the fruit salad. They really should include msemmen (Moroccan crepe) with options of amlou (argon oil peanut butter) and get some fresher items, maybe include eggs? This was the only let down. It wasn't awful but could definitely be improved especially as breakfasts at other riads have been better. This is something easy to improve and everything else was excellent, truly.
