Scarborough Travel and Holiday Lodge

4 blokes sharing a family room for the national scooter rally in Scarborough. Staff very helpful. Split the double bed into two singles. Room was clean, small for a family room. facilities at the hotel were good. Great location. Excellent breakfast with a good choice.

Good sized family room

We got a last minute "deal" not we paid £38 no breakfast included when we arrived the actual price was £29.95 with breakfast. The bar was closed at 21:30 . My husband got in to bed and nearly fell back out the mattress was sloping and very uncomfortable. I woke up in the morning with a diamonte stuck to my bum which caused me to look closer at the bedding which had not been changed if we had wanted breakfast through this site it would have been £51 . There were no staff to speak to when we got in at 21:30 the staff were all just leaving and the reception and bar all locked up it's a little too far to just go walking back to the town to drink and there was no local shop. No good for disabled ppl as they wouldn't manage the night entry system. It was at eye level and I'm 5"5 someone in a chair would not reach .

Stayed here for 2 nights in 2 rooms on 3/4 as a family and weren't impressed. When we arrived the receptionist said we had only paid for one room which I wasn't happy with. The room was advertised as a family room but was really a double with a bunk bed squeezed in the corner, just enough room to walk around the bed!! Also there was a wasp in the curtains and a moth flying around room which made my wife very uncomfortable for the rest of our stay. Breakfast was ok, when we finally got it, the warmest thing on the plate was the hash brown!!! All in all it was ok but don't think we'll be going back.

Room 12 very small, one side of bed only 8 inches from well, toilet very tight, shower weak and very difficult to turn on and off. Food ok but not hot. Staff pleasent and helpfull. Hotel close to beach and town Venter.

The staff were really friendly and helpful and the breakfast was excellent. Really good value for money.

Amazing will definitely be back!

The staff were polite and friendly but sadly the accommodation was small, unclean in places and poorly maintained.

Friendly efficient staff who were happy for us to use free car park from late morning when we arrived before check in time. Room was comfortable with novel Africa themed decor. Rather small room with limited hanging/storage space. Perfectly adequate for one or two nights but wouldn't want to stay much longer. Above all, it was very clean and well maintained and excellent value.
