Scarborough Travel and Holiday Lodge

The room was clean and tidy but the bed was terrible to sleep in. Had a mattress topper and under that the mattress was very thin, very close to sleeping on the slats of the bed. It seemed it hadn't been changed in a very long time. The toilet was leaking water onto the floor. The paint around the bed was chipping.

I just stayed overnight after a friends wedding, but the place had a family feel to it, very personable staff, room was fine, the full English was great, 5 minute all to the beach and town. Have booked to go back with the kids for a few days in the holidays as the family rooms seem spacious and reasonably priced.

Nice room bed too soft. Needed another blind above door as car park lit up all night and daybreak light very early.

Rooms very warm and could do with a fan other than that clean and comfy

Clean, tidy, staff and management are so friendly and helpful. If I have to pick a tiny fault it was the parking. Other than that it gets a 10 from us. Thanks x

Great stay in annex at back where we parked the bike in safety. Lovely comfy bed. Staff very helpful. Close enough to walk to Oliver's mount or the beach

Polish-speaking service, was helpful, Room modestly furnished, but clean and pleasant, I would not recommend the breakfast is unsavory

Ideal location for towncentre and sea front.Free parking which is a bonus in Scarborough!

From the photographs of the rooms on Expedia, the place looked good enough to book. Unfortunately, our room didn't match any of these, and we felt a bit disappointed at this. On a plus side, the place was clean and the bed comfortable. It's just a shame all the rooms don't match the photos!

On arrival we was greeted and tild to come back later as a school was in.. We returned at around 3pm and given a room in the top floor on entry all the doors slam as there on a latch, the room was too hot because of the weather.. It was very small for a double howeber it was clean. The first night was horrendous.. They lock the door at 11pm and and at around 3pm people next door came in banging n talking loudly all the doors were slamming we had little sleep that night. Kept having to ask for toilet roll. The shower was lovely though. There was abit of a walk to the seafront and a hill into the town which got a little tiring. Although it was an overall ok stay i wouldn't stay there again as i prefer a hitel closer to the seafront and a bigger room.
