A good location, room too small, couldn't swing a cat so no chance with the wife.

Staff was friendly and couldn't fault the full English breakfast. There was a good choice of fresh fruit and cereal as well. The car park is not for the faint-hearted as it is very tight to get up there and the spaces are on a slope and tight to get out of when the car park is full but the lodge is conveniently location and you can park your car when you arrive before the check in time and leave it there for the rest of the day when you check out, which is an added bonus.

Space is tight in the family room. But OK, as we did not spend much time in room except when sleeping. Double bed bit on the soft side for me but for a few nights, no back ache so that was great. Cooked breakfast was very good, plenty of tea, coffee and toast on offer. Check in and check out very fast no issues there. Parking first come first serve, though plenty parking bays on road as long as you get a scratch card when parked up during the day.

Spontaneous decision to stay overnight in Scarborough & on seeing the offer for this room decided to go ahead & book. Glad we did. Just a ten minute walk to the beach & town centre. Room quirky & provided everything we needed for a comfortable nights stay. Peter on evening reception very informative about the area & history of Scarborough. Will definitely stay again.

family of four stayed in a lovely room with a double bed and a bunk bed plenty of space, tea and coffee making facilities and shower. Room was very clean. Warm welcome from reception and they were more than happy to help in direction to the beach and anything else we needed. Stayed for one night, there was some noises during night and walls are pretty thin, but you could forget about that after you experience their fantastic breakfast. Was gorgeous and very acomodating for all diets. Location is perfect only 5-7 min walk to beach and arcades etc. Was a lovely stay and would definitely stay again and recommend

the rooms were quite noisy - we could hear other people speaking on their phones, televisions, children. and above all every toilet flush, not very relaxing.
