Cottages at Little River Cove

Excellent place to visit! Enjoyed our time a lot. Hospitality is A+ and well thought out.

This is a very nice venue. Several clean modern cabins with great ocean view. Perfect for a family vacation.

This is such a gem in Little River! The cottages are very spacious, comfortable & we enjoyed our stunning ocean view from the Humboldt Cottage. The hotel is right next door to the Little River Inn which was great for dinner & drinks. Unfortunately it was raining a bit so we couldn’t enjoy the beautiful lawn area & seating. But we did stroll along the paved walkway with some complementary tea. The proximity to Mendocino was also a big bonus for us, we will be staying here again!

Loved the large living room and being able to see the ocean from the front door and front porch. The grounds were very cute and well maintained. It was nice and quiet.

Loved this place! We really felt welcomed. Communication was excellent and they even gave us wine and our dog some gifts. The cabin was so cute and the views were outstanding. The grounds were beautiful with a fire pit and bbq. We had dinner reservations but the cabin was so cute we decided to cook there and eat in instead. Very clean and had everything we needed. Already planning to go back with the whole family.

We loved the Cottages at Little River Cove. We stayed in Ignacio, a two story cottage at the back of the property. The area and grounds are beautiful, offering solitude and a magnificent sunset! We had views of the ocean from both floors, spending most of the time on the 2nd floor, where we had a wider perspective of the Pacific. All the essentials you need are provided in the kitchen. The fireplace makes things cozy, and the entire place was exceptionally clean. Highly recommended if you're looking for a quiet place with colorful vegetation, a fire pit for everyone, and the Pacific nearby.

Very nice location with a short but beautiful hiking trail right across the street. We stayed in the Mendocino cottage which had a very large bedroom and separate living room/kitchen. We really enjoyed the living room as it had a great view of the ocean and an automatic woodstove to add to the comfy atmosphere. The kitchen was small but very usable with my only complaint being that some of the non-stick pots and pans are very used. We also noticed some ants in the bathroom and a couple other bugs here and there in the bedroom. It didn't really bother us and I would imagine it's pretty hard to avoid this in a place at this location. Overall I would recommend this cottage to anyone wanting a peaceful coastal get away!

Our stay at the Cottages at Little River Cove was great. The view from our cottage, the Farollan, was amazing. They had the best dog package with a bed, bowls, a towel for dogs going to the beach, poop bags in holder, a frisbee and some dog treats. Our dog loved it. Besides the facility being dog friendly, lots of restaurants, hiking trails and stores allow dogs. Would highly recommend coming here for a vacation with your dog.
