"Exceeded expectations"

We stayed in the Albion cottage. It exceeded expectations. There was a lovely view of the ocean. Plenty of coffee, etc, and even a complementary bottle of wine. The cottage was clean and had all of the necessary amenities.The bed was comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked.

"Great location but disappointing cottage especially for the price point."

The location and view were amazing! The description of the room’s sleeping accommodations was not accurate however. The booking.com ad described 3 beds: 1 queen, 1 futon and 1 sofa bed and the room actually had a queen bed and an unusable fold out futon that was smaller than a full bed. The room and kitchen needed cleaning. The towels and sheets were clean but the whole room needed to be cleaned of spider webs and dust and some of the kitchen items were unusable (dirty). The screen door needed replacement.

The beds, the lack of maintenance and cleanliness of the room were not acceptable.

"Beautiful and amazing views!"

We’ve stayed here many times and have always been very pleased. The cottages are clean and charming! The views are amazing! I love the fact that it has a full kitchen. Don’t want to cook? No worries, Mendocino is close by!

"Enjoyed Our Coastal Getaway at Cottages at LRC"

We stayed in Elk Cottage. It was clean, roomy, and well-equipped. It has a killer view of Little River Cove. Our only criticism is related to parking. The parking spot is such that you have to hike up a steep hill and then traverse a narrow, uneven dirt pathway between cottages to reach the cottage’s entrance. (There’s a second route, but it’s an even longer trek!) This made unloading and loading the car and moving luggage, camera gear, and other stuff to and from the cottage a real chore. But, other than the parking situation, this place is fine. We look forward to future visits.

"Great time in a beautiful location"

Had a wonderful time at cottages at Little River Cove. It's a beautiful location with a staff that ready to help with anything you need. Upon arrival, we were met with a letter addressed to the dog and a gift basket for the pet. I will definitely be returning for a longer stay.

Was not clean. Cobwebs in the windows, dark stains all over the carpet, dark spots in the shower
