Cottages at Little River Cove

What an amazing find! Great layout so pretty much everyone gets a view - common area is perfect for beach gazing and sunsets. Check in process was easy and the staff very responsive and helpful. Make sure you have everything you might need because it’s not close to stores (I consider that a huge plus) I can’t wait to stay here again!!!

Clean room, family friendly.

We had a great experience and our stay was very comfortable. There were many occasions where we were reflecting on the stay and all we could reflect on were good experiences.

The ocean view was beautiful. The bed was very comfortable and the little kitchen was very well stocked with anything you could need.

The shower, although it worked well, was super small and the bathroom in general was small. Not much space to put toiletries. But it was manageable. Also the light receptacles for the bedside lights, the bottom plug was not active. Could not charge phones on the bedside table which was a little inconvenient and could be easily fixed.

Loved this place so much! The cottage itself was perfect, large with everything we needed. The cottages are staggered and very quiet. Amazing views of the ocean both from the cottage and from the lawn area with beautiful seating overlooking the ocean. We met so many nice people here as well. We will be back!

The floor was dirty. The innkeeper had to have it mopped. The patio like was burnt out and the had to change it. Huge unknown stain on the carpet. Rear slider lock broken and safety device was a wooden stick in the track. Shower head detached from the wall about to fall off. Owner receptive to getting the floor cleaned and light changed out but for over $400 a night was not willing to give a discount and only offered for a future stay. I did not accept as we will never stay here again. All he said to that comment was ok and bye and hung up. The property could be really nice if the owners cared about it. The grounds are full of weeds and spider webs. Void of any security or safety lighting in walking dirt paths.

Excellent little cottage with 2 floors and 1.5 baths. Good view if the ocean. Nice amenities in the unit with auto drop coffee fridge, microwave etc Nicely appointed!

Great place to stay, the cottages were lovely and provided a fantastic ocean view in the mornings/evenings. They had everything you would need inside, and were a short walk away from beach access

Of course the Location. Great to just look out your window and see the ocean. Mendocino is just about a five minutes drive north.

Tight parking space. Could have been a bit cleaner inside cottage.
