Charming and convenient

This place was fantastic, close to town and amenities yet super private and relaxing, the views from the unit and nearby bbq and fire pit area were epic, saw one of the best sunsets here of my life!

Liked how quiet and close to Fort Bragg and Mendocino botanical gardens. Like that the cabins have dishes and utensils and glasses. Also was nice our cottage had a hot tub to relax after a day of hikes and adventures.

The location is great with a fantastic view. There’s lots of state parks with great activities nearby (hiking, biking, kayaking) and fantastic restaurants.

The one way street is a little annoying, but it’s no big deal.

A beautiful view of the ocean out of the living room window was the best part of our stay at the Mendocino cottage. I wish we had checked in earlier to take advantage of the facility to be able to for instance watch the sunset from the porch, but we sadly arrived late at night and went straight to bed.

There were not enough spare blankets for the living room couch/bed, so unfortunately I felt a little cold at night until I put on additional layers of clothing. 😎

The refrigerator was noisy and probably needs a fan repair. The olive oil provided was scant, and I only mention it because we intentionally did not pack any since we saw it was provided in the unit (which seems a luxury!). The furniture was kinda low budget.

It was perfect get away! Highly recommend not staying less than two nights (we stayed three). So much to see, experience and enjoy! The cottage was quaint, cozy, clean and comfortable. Luna Trattoria Restaurant, Good Life Cafe & Bakery and Frankie’s. An organic grocery store located in an old church. Harvest Market great grocery store.

We love this place! Excellent location, clean and nice cottages. Very thoughtful management. Beautiful views! Great for dogs!

We stayed at unit called Caspar with hot tub and ocean view at Cottage at little river cove. Adorable private place. Want to go back soon. -Love the spacious private hot tub clean and cozy with jet streaming and light. -Has good ocean view from living room as well as the deck. -Plenty of clean towels with gawns. All toiletries provided. Love the water quality. -kitchen has a full sized freezer and oven. All clean tools, utensils, pots, Tazo teas/ Anderson coffee with good aroma and taste. Even a bottle of wine too! -nice full sized sofa bed with fireplace and separate bedroom with queen sized bed. We all slept well. -kind management crews. Great communication via email and text. Efficient self check in and out.
