I we had a lovely room it was quiet with a lovely view. Great location for The big Daddy & Balloon flight. Would recommend

Great hotel in the desert. Good pool, excellent dinner under the stars. Exceptional breakfast box for take away. Disadvantages: very early check out time (10 am). Very short lunch menu. No access to the national park before sunrise and you can’t return to the hotel from dunes after sunset.

An oasis of calm. Good service from staff and helpful advice from their in house guide on getting the best out of our stay. Only downside is the buffet rather than a la carte but we did get to see a Jackal in the garden from the dinner table

Closest property to the gate for the National Park at Sossusvlei. Great breakfast and dinner outside right next to the dessert

This is a really good option if you want to see the Sossusvlei and don't want to self-cater. The rooms are excellent, as are the tour services (spectacular morning trip to Sossusveli and Deadvlei!). The food is good, but not great. All in all, a good option.

We liked everything about this property. There is nothing not to like. From our room we could watch the animals roaming around the desert. The rooms are well thought out and spacious. We were in a very quiet room furthest out which we appreciated.

Loved the property but our room was a bit far from the reception area.

Great location & the evening buffet was excellent. Needed snack options at lunchtime. Ground coffee not replaced. We really enjoyed the trip to the dunes. It was an ok place to stay, but we left feeling slightly underwhelmed.

The staff were outstandingly professional and friendly and that was everyone we interacted with. The rooms are clean, spacious and totally luxurious. The location is ideal, just 500m from the park gate. The food is spectacular, 8 different game meats and all the regular meats all cooked to order in front of you on the open air grill. Add that to the stir fry grill and the fish grill and you can’t beat it. All served outside after watching an amazing Namibian sunset. Oryx often wandered close by as you sat an gazed out at the desert. My daughter didn’t want to leave. Five stars out of five for Sossusvlei Lodge.
