Sossusvlei Lodge

Fantastic. Great location. All staff were friendly, happy and helpful. Food was fabulous.

This was definitely my favourite place to stay at in Namibia! The lodge is right at the gate to the park. I stayed in a superior room at the very front line meaning I had a great view. The room is very spacious with a fridge, safe and AC. The bathroom has both a shower and bath. The hotel grounds are beautiful and the swimming pool has an amazing view. The breakfast and dinner were included in the booking and is all buffet style. With an outdoor grill with a range of game meat as well as vegetarian and fish options. Food was ok I’ve had better. The staff are great and very friendly. We done the Sossusvlei tour and our guide Johanas was great! Definitely worth it! I regret not staying here longer to enjoy the bliss and the sun!

We LOVED Sossusvlei Lodge! It's so close to the gates of Sessriem, so we were able to be the third car in line to drive to see the spectacular Deadvlei in the morning and the Lodge itself is such a gem in the desert! We loved our room - the bathroom is huge and the bed is very comfortable. We really enjoyed the gorgeous food in the beautiful outdoor setting in the evening, too - creating your own stir fry at night and scrambled eggs in the morning is a real treat out in the middle of Namibia!

Stay was comfortable and lodge was great!

We stayed here as a family on the way to Swakopmund in Namibia after driving from Cape Town. The local dunes are one of the wonders of the world and this Lodge isn't far behind. We stayed for two nights and while it's hot during the day, the pool cools any reddening body and the rooms that look out on the desert are amazing. I spend one night alone just sitting looking out on the moonlit desert, listening to the sounds of birds and animals, exhausted by climbing dunes, but with a buoyant soul. Absolutely wonderful place... and the buffet food in the evening is awesome. I ate springbok, zebra and eland... and I rarely eat red meat.

Fantastic Lodge & location. We arrived early but able to check in with no problems. Room was spacious, clean & comfortable with great views over the dessert. Buffet breakfast & dinner both good - wide range & choice. Located within minutes of Entrance to Sossusvlei.

Great lodge, right at the gate of the national park. Fantastic dinners with a full range of bbq game meats.

Really enjoyed the stay. Good breakfast and dinner. The view at sunset was spectacular.

Simply lovely. Ideal location.

Excellent refreshing oasis in the desert.
