Homewood Suites by Hilton Shreveport

The size of the suite was awesome, the breakfast offered overnight oats and other things. The whole family liked it.

They check in was a chaotic with the rest of the rooms for the other families we traveled with weren’t ready. When we entered our room the lights were on and a staff member was walking out of the bathroom with a can of cleaning spray. This shook me a little as I wasn’t prepared for anyone to be in our room.

Dirty, dirty, dirty. The room was dirty. The floors had stains that could be wiped up with water and paper towel, there was hair on the bathroom floor, the kitchen had dried food stains on the stove and everything was sticky. The wallpaper in the kitchen is peeling off and a the microwave is cracked, the light doesn’t work, and the kitchen amenities are sorely lacking. At checkin, I requested the complimentary water and snack provided for Diamond members, but I was told they had no water. I asked for water out of the fridge in front of me, but was told I could only have water if I paid for it. Some requested the points that are an option in lieu of water and snack. I was told it isn’t their fault there is no water, and so they don’t offer points. I requested manager and was told they are gone for the day. Oh and perhaps dangerous, the door to the furnace is not locked and doesn’t even stay closed. This is a hazard if you have small children. This place should not be a member of the Hilton brand.

I did not like anything about my time there.

I booked the room at this property to have an airport shuttle and they did not provided 24 hour shuttle service and did not provide an alternative.

Good location.

Overall cleanliness of the room was lacking specifically the bathroom. Could tell the person before me was a long haired brunette.

Breakfast horrible. My key wouldn’t work after initial encounter. Parking was over crowded.
