Hampton Inn & Suites Florence-North-I-95

The people of this Hampton Inn made our stay memorable, the recently renovated spaces less so. The gracious breakfast staff were fantastic, and made us feel like we were in a luxury hotel. Served in a spotlessly clean area, the complimentary breakfast was surprisingly satisfying. There was even a very nice staff person who was circulating to ask how they could do better! The desk clerk took initiative to connect us with a lost item before we left the property, and we really appreciated that. There are lots of choices at this I-95 exit, but we will come back to this particular Hampton Inn because of the people. A word on the decor. The renovated room was bright and clean, and I hasten to stress the bed was extremely comfortable. But the wood grain vinyl floor rather than carpet, an open closet without doors, and a Formica type set of drawers and desk made the whole thing look like it can be hosed down rather than cleaned. I guess this is the way that hotels at this price point are going, but please, Hampton Inn, get rid of the cold LED lighting in the entryway of the room and in the bathroom, and replace with warmer LEDs--getting ready in the morning felt more like I was about to go into surgery! Thank you Hampton Inn staff for a great stay!

Chose this Hampton Inn as I travelled down from NY to Florida. I had meant to book the other Hampton Inn at the Florence Center, as it seems to be in the nicer part of town, but it was too late to change by the time we got there. While it wasn't the worst, it certainly wasn't the best. The room was clean and the beds were okay, however the bathroom maintenance was terrible. The sink faucet was dangling off and there was literally zero water pressure in the shower. I couldn't even rinse the shampoo out of my hair. The main turnoff for me was the unfriendly women at check in and check out. Very cold and hardly said a word to me other than, "please swipe your card". Upon checkout, I had let them know about the bathroom issues and the woman said, "oh ok, I'll tell the maintenance guy". Not apology, no nothing. Let's just say I didn't feel welcomed upon arriving and certainly didn't feel it upon leaving. One other thing to consider is the outside surrounding area of this hotel seems to be in the more sketchy part of town. Don't think I'd return here unless I was desperate for a room. Stayed at the Staybridge Suites Florence on the return and would choose that instead.

Breakfast was excellent and the team managing the breakfast service was very efficient and pleasant. Thank you. Grateful you had non-dairy options (ie eggs without cheese) as I have a dairy allergy Appreciated being on the first floor with our pet for easy access outside

Small pet potty area but adjacent lot helped out - just challenging with no lights at night.

Very friendly and comfortable

We had a great stay at this hotel. It was very clean, with comfortable beds and plenty of toiletries. The staff were attentive and very friendly. The breakfast was delicious, with plenty of options both hot and cold.

The location, staff, cleanliness of the rooms, and comfort of the rooms was excellent

Everything was very good
