There was no one at desk for check in. Keys for all rooms were on counter with our names. Had to buy batteries for TV. Room needed updating. Ripped curtain and wallpaper pealing. It was walking distance to downtown on the upside.

If I had known there was no elevator I would not have booked there. Building is very old and reminds me of a cheap retirement home. It’s not falling apart but it needs updating. Beds were clean but light bulbs were missing. Holes in wall poorly patched, stairs are a challenge for older people or those with mobility problems.

The bed had only 2 pillows and 1 small blanket. The TV was the size of a microwave and we could not get any channels to work. The internet was terrible and could not be used. There were no shampoo, conditioner or bar soap. No person at front desk just a key in an envelope. Wall paper falling off the wall

Do yourself a favor, do not stay here! Top 2 floors are no access. Old hotelnot remodeled, scary in places, nasty. The rooms are dirty, beds are memory foam and uncomfortable. There is not a manager on-site, call a number if need something. Free TV but did not work, called number told would get IT guy, bye,bye and hung up. Coffee service in lobby, no water, no coffee cups. No hair dryer. No dead bolt on door, only knob lock, felt unsafe. There during ironman, super inflated pricing, 4 to 5x too much, shameful gouging! Consumer beware. Location ok, big hill to climb from downtown. Our stay in this hotel is an unpleasant memory of an otherwise beautiful visit to the region.

Good price but bare bones: no window shades, except bathroom; peeling paint on wood trim and wall paint splotchy; stained carpet; no cell charge station in room; dirty windows; cardboard towels; half role TP in bathroom; bed , pillows, AC ok; clean for the most part.

This was really a bad experience in every way. First there is no working elevator, so be ready for steep stairs. There was no TV, no fridge or microwave, no soap or shampoo. Not even handsoap at the sink. I travel a lot and never been in a hotel without these basics. Obviously no cups, coffee, ice buckets in room. Coffee in kuerig downstairs, however, we were hiking and there were no cups. So no coffee either. We learned the front desk was only available 10 to 10 so unfortunately the no soap issue waited until 10 am the next day. This was probably the worst place I ever stayed. Also, the wall paper was peeling off the walls.
