Yeoksam Artnouveau City Hotel and Residence

Just dont take a 2 twin bed room. They are real tight - i kept bumping into everything. What bothered me most was 1) that the sheets didnt seem to be fresh when we checked in - i kept finding dark thick hair . I took fresh sheets the next day and they were much more crisper and fresh. 2) Also they didnt clean the shower for months because there was slime every where in the walls - ugh. 3)The maids used the same gloves hands to clean out the trash and to bring in fresh towels and sheets. I stopped asking for towels and sheets and instead washed them myself in the ensuite washer dryer. That washer dryer was the ONLY reason I had chosen this hotel. 4) The decor is awful - like they went to a flea market to load up on antique knockoffs. 5) They wont even give you an umbrella without taking a deposit first - made my friend deposit his car key for lending him an unbrella. NEVER AGAIN.

I was not informed for this Self check in which machine has no english . No staff in the front desk, and no instruction how to call for help. I really had very bad time to check in for 40 minutes till a young lady who just checked in hours ago helped me check in thru that machine...Very bad experience

When I made a reservation, I thought it was going to be a hotel, but I later found out it's an accommodation without a front desk. This wouldn't have been an issue if the password I had received prior to my check in was correct, but the password was incorrect and I had to wait for more information than two hours for the manager to come and open the door. He opened the door with a key card, but he told us he couldn't provide us the correct password to open the door so, we were basically stuck in our room and not able to enjoy our vacation until we receive our new password. It's by far the worst experience in my life. The manager also mentioned that the office closed at 6pm. If I had arrived after 6pm, would the hotel even be reachable? Tbh, I was able to reach the hotel since I had a Korean number, but if you're a tourist with no access to phone, I can't even imagine what our experience would've been.

No front desk. No hotel employees found not only at front desk but in whole building. No room cleaning for 9 days. Seems two independent corporations own or manage this business, but nobody in charge when help needed. This place must be closing soon or converting to residential apartment.

The interior design and cleanliness and location was amazing.

I was not informed of the place being a self checking after my booking was confirmed. I never received the room # or door code until after I arrived and tried figuring out how to find my room.

Waited 3 hours to check in - no front desk or anyone to contact. Phone number does not work either. You cannot leave your luggage with anyone if you arrive earlier than 6pm. Stayed there many times before but unlikely to return in the future.
