Welcome to Disneyland, Chobe. Actually, it is more like Banksy's Dismal Land. The conveyor belt of tour groups is staggering and leads to an absolutely souless experience. Staff are poorly trained, ignorant and disinterested. The maintenance is shocking, room prepartion random, the keys frequently stop working and the communal toilets broken. Dining is buffet, but trying to order drinks is a nightmare. It all adds up an experience that is out of character with the location of the hotel and Chobe itself. Avoid...

An incredible location with fantastic activities and proximity to the national park. Our favourite place to spend time was at the bar watching the sunsets ver the Chobe river into the Namibian horizon

While the property is very nice when you arrive and the staff greeting is wonderful things collapse rapidly. The place is so busy either tour groups and day trippers that the buffets are not refilled often enough. The only food is buffet style and often repeated. The pool by the spa is the only quiet place to relax but the bathrooms have no supplies. The “golf course” is 9 holes and appears abandoned (pro shop had a padlock on it mid-day). The rooms are adequate size but the beds are tiny (doubles not even queen sized). Our AC failed twice in 3 days and we had mouse droppings all over our patio which housekeeping ignored so using that part of the room wasn’t an option.

Stayed 3 nights with a travel group. It's a nice enough hotel with hippos up close but the food left a lot to be desired. Kudu every night that was like old leather. Only 1 night out of 3 was decent. The maid knocked on our door before 8 in the morning twice. The second was the day we were leaving. Surely they know which rooms to clean after check out time. Felt like I was being chased out. The bar happy hour badly explained we never got it at all. The bar is up loads of badly lit steps with hardly any furniture, it's not comfortable at all. There's nothing to.do here at night. Nowhere nice to sit with a drink. No entertainment, nothing.

We stayed here as part of a tour group. It is an absolutely beautiful facility with many great amenities. But looks can be deceiving. We noticed right away that the a/c was not working, so I reported it to the front desk, but it wasn’t fixed. When I found out the TV didn’t work either, I didn’t waste my breath reporting it. The staff at the buffet and restaurant were largely indifferent, although some were very nice and helpful. For the 5 star prices they charge, this is no where near a 5 star experience.

Katastrophales Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Auch unter Berücksichtigung des beschränkten Angebots in Kasane, ist dieses Hotel der ausserordentlich stolze Preis nicht wert: massiv zu teuer. Die Anlage ist sehr in die Lage gekommen (und z.T. nicht mehr gepflegt/unterhalten). Die Zimmer (v.a. Badezimmer) sind in einem nicht akzeptablen Zustand (selbst bei einem deutlich geringeren Preis). Essen leider extrem bescheiden. Personal meistens an der Grenze der Höflichkeit. Das Hotel wird offenbar auch für grosse Kongresse genutzt; dies führt zu einer "speziellen" Stimmung.

Large safari themed resort with close proximity to Chobe National Park and Chobe River. Great spa and massage facilities and also adjacent to the 9 hole Chobe Golf Club. Decent breakfast and dinner buffets, although the meats are a battle. Be wary of venturing out on the property after dark as wild animals may present an unwanted meeting. Overall, a comfortable and friendly resort.

The massage at the Spa is more than excellent. Masseuse OG is wonderful. I would rate her 10 stars if possible. We had back and neck and feet. Worth every penny.

Staff were excellent and treated me like a queen. It was solo birthday trip and service was nothing but excellent
