Mountain Lodge at Okemo, A Vail Resorts Property

Loved the soaps & shampoos. The place needs better explanation on way to get in. When we checked in, we followed Google maps which took us up the windiest road. Much easier to take 103 & straight up! The woman at the desk explained it, AFTER wasting 30 minutes on the twisty road! No elevator so my 81 year old mom got her work out. So did I. Absolutely beautiful surroundings.

Overall stay was pleasant

Our return stay was based on our stay from last year in which we had a very updated condo. We were quite disappointed with this unit. Nothing had been upgraded, and the furniture was very "rikety". My sister stayed next door and paid less for a condo that was much more modern. In saying this, we love the spot and expect to be back but will hope for something that is more updated.

It needs alot of updating

Very nice accommodations, but the logistics of checking in at another hotel, quite far from the room is a problem. The folks at Jackson Gore were great, but the map you get to drive back to find your place is awful. As well as the lack of sufficient street lights or signs is a major problem! It was dusk when we arrived, and we had to call the desk again from the lot. Luckily there were 2 folks cleaning the hallway rugs, and were able to help me. The outside of the building needs signing that let’s you know where you are !! The lodging was excellent, clean and comfortable, but we almost couldn’t find it!! Maybe a messenger or valet, could lead folks from check in at Jackson Gore to the other place …or a drone !!

Nice room! Like a small apartment with your own balcony.

Check in was a mess! If booking on Booking. Com, know that you have to check in to Jackson Gore Inn which is about 1.5 miles from the address given. And make sure to ask them for the door code to enter the building which they didn't give us when checking in and seemed confused about when I called to ask for it once we got to the building. And parking is a ways away from the building having to carry your luggage up flights of stairs as we didn't see any elevators.. :(

it’s extremely confusing to find the property. The lobby (where you get your keys) is located 15 minute drive from where the property is. there are no signs and no one told us about it, so we were driving in circles for 30 minutes until a security guard stopped us and told us where to go. then the staff at the lobby gave us the wrong address and we had to call security to come get us. Basically it took over an hour to get to the room. The rooms are very outdated, the building is smelly. It’s right on the mountain so during winter its great. But off season i found it to be very expensive, confusing and not very nice

Address given by Expedia was not the condo, but Guest Services. CheckIn was at a totally different location and staff failed to give outter door code. Wasted much time.
